Who here is actually putting the graft in and actively hitting on chicks??....The impression I get is only a handful are really putting themselves on the line to get this area of their lives handled and pushing themselves beyond their edge.

It seems those who have 'made it' and got a bird are all to quick to comment from their position in the rarefied atmosphere on the lads who are knee deep in shit trying to find their way in the world.

Guys who have come here and read 'the game' or who are familiar with Mystery Method should not be crucified. This is however after all a forum whereby the clue is in the title.

It's easy to forget where you came from. If Hustler hadn't handed me a copy of The Game, or indeed pointed me in the direction of this forum, I may never have attempted to work on this area of my life.

this forum is full of neysayers, who encourage you not to put the work in. Ego aside, because i put the work in, i'm pulling stunners and getting regular sex. Please, for my sake, put the work in. Go out, approach, get blown out, and above all, ENJOY IT!!!

I'm not doing as much as I should be. What I'm saying is I still have major AA, I don't have much trouble in a club or pub, but seeing a hot blonde pass me by in the street regularly while telling myself I should be going for it, is starting to really bug me.

I don't. I did, but that was a while ago. What's wrong with going out with your mates, having a laugh and talking to a few girls/guys/mixed groups throughout the evening? Usually some numbers will be exchanged, everything's cool.

I joined this community, like many, after a chodey LTR. My focus was clear, not necessarily to just get a larger quantity of women in my life, but primarily to get better quality women. Girls I could look at, and only a few years ago have thought she was 'out of my league'.

This is now happening for me. I'm no Hugh Hefner, but I would comfortably consider myself generally speaking as being good with girls.

There are more important areas in my life that I'm now concentrating on, women are not everything to me. What is a good idea, is for everyone who wants to improve on something specific, thinks about where they want to be in a years time. Do you want a few fuck buddies, everything casual, frequent meaningless ONSs? Or in a years time do you want to have bagged a real good girl who you're in tune with?

Neither is right or wrong, it's just I think people should think about that and not lie to themselves.

This forum is full of people who encourage everyone to progress. The only people who are not in tune with this, get bullied off.

Going out is part of life. Not only for getting girls but for experiencing different places and different social situations which I love. Most of the time I meet amazing people going out and have an incredible time. If I pull, even better! There was a term knocking around this forum a while back "social awesomeness". I really get that now. It does help too that Burnley is such a friendly place. Talk to any random dude and he's your best mate! So go out, be genuinely interested in other people! Express yourself and shoot shit to everyone. People will love you for it. More often then not, when I go out with the mindset "how many friends can I make tonight", I pull. If I go out for the only sole intention to hit on girls, I fall flat on my face. I mix it in with fun.

Yes. Hence we came here to try and improve. The more I learn and take action the less effort it becomes.

These are good questions to ask yourself. I don't see these being separate entities though. Something casual might turn into a relationship. The next girl I meet on the streets might be the coolest girl I have ever met. Bagging the good girl... that could come from anywhere.


This is all rather vague. A couple of pieces of advice I hear regularly on here are:

- don't read PUA books
- don't go out with the intention of hitting on chicks

It's all too easy for people to be snobs on here and shun PUA as weird, but where does that leave the guy starting out?

A PUA horse walks into a bar. The bartender says "why the long face?" Don't be the horse, be a cheeky monkey instead. Cheeky monkeys can get away with three-way kiss closes and shrewd sex acts in clubs etc. Actively game by all means and have fun doing it. Game should be a very light hearted.

Not really, everyone's pretty encouraging - of the right behaviour. The wrong behaviour, such as using routines and other 'tricks' needs to be beaten out of people.

PUA is why we're all here, everyone came off the same ship. But it's not where you've come from, it's where you're going - and how you get there.

The advice on here, for those willing to dig around for it - gives new people a very diverse range of opinions and stories. From which (this is the most important thing) new people can pick and choose whatever works for them and use it.

The teacher's job is not to give all the answers, but to show the path so the student can find his own answers. Nobody is a teacher here, but everyone has experiences which are useful to others.

The PUA 'external stuff' works well for new people because it gets them going out and interacting with girls. It gives them a few tips to get started. However, once they've overcome the AA they can begin to relax in themselves and develop from the inside out.

PUA shit is for beginners, it is good for beginners. But once new guys come on the forum, a select amount of people on here steer these people away from that, and onto the next level.
