Men have a biological need to spread there seed and produce offspring. It doesn't mean sticking with 1 woman. It means intercourse with as many healthy females as it takes so your genes have a better chance of survival.

Women usually need one partner to stick with them in order to help them survive and raise a chide.

That's the point I was getting at.

I agree it's not at all the case in a LTR but in the 'men sew the seed, women nurture it' sense you could say that women can become more biologically/emotionally attached after sex than men..

That being said I don't really believe its true in modern society, but you can kind of validate his statement to a point, it is narrow minded though.

It may conflict with everything in your brain and heart... but the EASIEST thing to do I have noticed, is to:
Completely cut them out of your life and HATE them.
Your hatred will soon fade into nothing anyway, so you may as well feel better earlier by just hating the bitch.

You may want to hold on to sentimental memories and possessions etc, you may think you still want to have sex with her... you may feel sick at the thought of her having sex with other people.
So to counter this, HATE her, and forget she exists.
