sounds a lot like high intensity training by mike mentzer. food is very important. A lot of peeps think that they should train all day every day which is just over training.

yes, very high intensity-- i record every rep of every set and i hit each set like my life depends on making that extra rep
somtimes i feel like ive just lost a year off my life i push myself that hard.

but the progress i would make in the gym was staggering compared to everyone else
