Went out last night with CookieDough and XFC to 5th Ave, a few drinks and we got onto approaching.

The first few are always the toughies, my first one went really well it was two girls seated and loads of banter but I didn't handle it too well and the hot one fucked off but I think she was just being an attention seeker rather than me not necessarily 'doing it right'.

Chris and CD were owning it all night too, recommended to anyone on here for a sick night out. Next was another two girls which went AWFUL, they were those type that don't give you much to work with but aren't being rude and it was, essentially, a one man show of stumbling and embarrassing myself hahaha

Went for a boogie and a girl approached Chris and he got on it, her friend was there, I wasn't really into her but made-out with her because he seemed better than doing nothing.

Chris went home with her and me and David did our thing, I must of got David to re-open some girl about fifty times haha. Got talking to another one and spent like 15minutes, it was odd she said she had a boyfriend but one minute it was all handsy and two seconds later is was "No, no!". Got confusing, we went our ways.

There was a load of other shit that happened, girls spoken to, drinks drunk, mates made but overall I was pretty sober.

Oh and some guy started on me for speaking to his friend haha cockmuncher

Actually the girl who I said was confusing was a perfect example of why I don't think its great to analyse too much, like there's literally so many variables that how can you really figure out what it was that went wrong. I think its best to do your thing and you'll naturally notice patterns, recurring reactions etc and you'll figure it out from there.

Not that there's never a time to analyse.

The best thing I've got out of this is everyone I've met off this forum.

I've had a hell of a lot more hangovers around at uni, if there's one aspect (that isn't necessarily negative) that I've really noticed is that I don't do as much with people from my own uni/town but I think that's also because I don't have as much in common with them in general.

If my friends from back home were up here it'd be a different story but I don't think I have met many people up I'd consider proper hang-out buddies.

I can't think of much else its improved outside of girls: going to set up a few dates this week. It's a fun hobby/interest/activity too. I don't think doing it all sober would do much either, maybe save me money and a hangover.

On a side note I was thinking how gay it is when pua's say "Being in state is like being drunk". I remember my first beer.

What about "inside" girls?

Actually I speculated that if I did day game I'd probably have a lot more 'success' but its not sustainable, in the day I have shit to do or even just walking around aimlessly is not a lifestyle I want.

I always say this but never get around to doing it but I want to do it during my day like whilst at uni or popping into the shop but I'm always daydreaming in my head and no one there to give a me a push to go over haha but if I managed to get into nightgame (something I used to think would probably never happen) then I see no reason why I can't accomplish that too.

Went out Saturday with Chris and Ash for a chilled night out, hit up Factory for a bit. Weren't bothered about girls, after a while we were like "Actually lets approach a few" haha. Was a good night.

On the way home we got some food, sat next to some girls and we all got speaking, it was super-close to them coming back to chris' pad but for some reason or another they weren't up for it.

If we kept at it they woulda came back to the house but none of us were that bothered. Great puas huh!

I'll build on the habit of approaching more and sooner when I'm in the club as most nights out I never put much pressure on myself at all to do many approaches but now I think its something to work on but come weekends and special occasions I'll have a normal night out. Im not a weirdo.

I have a question to everybody. When going over to a group of girls do you think its best to engage the whole group then take the one you want or speak to the one you want and then engage the group as you go along?

I don't mean indirect/direct.

For me it's specific to a situation - if I like the look of a group and I think they would be fun then yes.

If on the other hand they look like vacuous clones who I don't have the time of day for, no.

It depends on what they are doing, or how your interaction starts:
if you're just walking up and starting a conversation it will be pretty hard to include everybody
if you are running up because you need to get a specific task accomplished in a bet with a friend and are full of energy then they are more than likely going to want to be part of it

but as K said do what the situation dictates, he is much better at saying it than me...
