the Story

Started off in the library in my University. I was borrowing three books so I can look through them to see which one is worth taking them out.
There was this quiet space where anyone can rest on their desks with their laptops and shits. That quiet space consists of some tables sections of it divided by steel mesh "blinds", so whoever sits there has his or her own private space. They're only about a foot tall.


I was approaching the quite space, making my way there. There were two black guys sitting at the desks to eachother. They giggle and laughed as I approached them. I sometimes wondered what they were laughing about. I couldn't care. =p
One of the guys offered to take his stuff away so I can sit next to him.
I said, “No thanks”. I've moved to another vacant space one seat AWAY from him... ¬_¬


So I depressingly sat there on my own with my laptop and books. You know the usual. Just doing the routine, browsing around the net and going through the books whenever they’re worth borrowing or not.

So, I was just sitting there, browsing and waiting and doing my own shit. While the two black guys on my right a laughing and giggling about (are they really slagging me off…?)


Suddenly, there’s this hot chick appeared from the corner of my eye. I didn’t stare at her directly, just glancing.
She has this nice brown curly hair and she was wearing some brown jumper-or-something, her figure is looking seriously nice… I tried not to look at her.
So she just fuucking waltzed in passed the black guys and passing behind me…, and then sitting right next to me. (Oh shit.)


With such strange coincidence, this hot chick chooses the place next to me and she doesn’t seemed bothered by it.
I silently giggled at that fact of how she’s oblivious to what I was doing in my private mini cubicle while I trembled with anxiety at the same time. I really wanted to check her out, but I didn’t… want to make it too obvious…
I quickly adjusted my schoolbag, which was located between me and her, “Is alright…?” I’ve smiled.
She said, “Yes, it’s okay”. She opened and turned on her laptop.

Thoughts of Opening and Theory came into my mind automatically. It’s just responding the urge to bang her maybe.
I’ve had some self limiting beliefs saying that I shouldn’t open her or engage her in anyway. That’s due to breakdown of the lairs. I know that shouldn’t happen otherwise some self-limiting beliefs wouldn’t creep in there in the first place. And then I’ve had thoughts about not talking to women without being a weirdo: this is due to me hanging around with my non-pua-let-women-choose-them peers. Contrary to what my peers told me, my seniors would actually encourage me to go out and do stuffs before the lairs broke down.

I’ve got this uncontrollable urge. I don’t know what to call it. It’s like I’ve got to do something rather than just sit there and do nothing. I CAN’T FUCKING SIT THERE AND DO NOTHING!

I’ve turned to her,
“Alright there…?”
No response. I was fucking shit scared. She wasn’t even moving an inch or noticing anything. She seemed too occupied with what she’s looking at on her screen. I didn’t know what I fucked did wrong there. There’s no way I could fucked it up. It started to look doom and gloom from there on.
I’ve proceeded, and started to raised my voice a little higher….
“Alright there…?”
She slowly turned “what…? Excuse me…?”
Oh… she didn’t get what I was saying to her…?
“Erm… I’m just saying ‘hi’” I leaned back on the chair with my right arm resting behind.
“Oh… sorry, I was just looking at my friends’ photo on Facebook” She smiled wryly.
“Must be addictive, huh? =/”
“I know…! I deactivated it months ago. Now, I have to go online to be in contact with my friends” and so on.
*Sigh* “God….”
“Yeah, I knoww ^_^;”

“I’m only doing this to get in contacts with my friends… it’s my friend’s birthday etc. etc…. I missed them. Just like to know what’s going on with them” Women are such sociable creatures, eh?
I said “well, in society nowadays, people seem to be reliant on communications coming across wires between them just to socialise with friends. I think we could do without these things”.
Her: Yeah… I know >.< there’s was like… when you have friends in school that you haven’t seen for like over 8-9 years, you’re just curious about what’s going on with them. And then suddenly I’m getting add [request] from people I barely know or seen for a while.

“Do you speak Francais?” I asked.
“Erm, no”
“I’m just trying to work your accent =)” *feeling relaxed*
“Oh no… I’m (born and raised?) from somewhere between Brussels/which is next to France… [whatever]"

Looking back at it, it’s very hard for me to recall the exact order of the conversation. Regardless of the order, I think it went quite well judging from the contents of it.

Maybe it's the time, but the diagrams don't make any sense?

if that is true order of conversation then the flaw is:

1. Woman: talks about reunions / school / getting back in touch with old friends
2. Man: goes completly off tangent, with a closed question about something totally unrelated (i.e. “Do you speak Francais?”)

Just build on her conversation - which is about reunions / school / getting back in touch with old friends

There is depth/warmth/humanity in such a convo topic so it is a good one to run with, add to, joke with. Woman love talking about friendships (theirs and others).

(Not "do you speak French" as she's from Brussels area -- that's relatively boring and shallow in comparison to adding depth through topic of "reunions / school / getting back in touch with old friends"))

this is a true statement in general, but this guy is at an earlier phase of development: maintaining a conversation with a girl (while not dreaming up 2D diagrams of the participants' positions in the interaction using circles and grids). So he is at an early beginner stage.

In light of that I think he should initially focus on natural easy conversation with girls. PUA stuff of intent, isolate, escalate, close etc can come in the future when he has developed into a more chilled guy.
