To the "i have a bf" line, you can say deadpan, "really, how's that going?". She'll either laugh at your audacity if she's bright, or say it's going well in which case you try to make her a friend not a target (i hate that word), or she'll be non committal or negative about it in which case you can keep her in orbit as it's not necessarily a real obstacle. It can be a shield, you can't react to it until you're sure she's not just trottin out the party line.

The only thing i can think of is asked for the number after talking about work in effect snapping her out of the spontenuity and excitement of it all. Either that or holding onto her hand for too long when talking about handshaking. I felt her grip loosen so i let go but she could have found that a bit weird maybe.

A girl in a commited LTR would not go clothes shopping with some random guy because its pure as day to her that you are interested in her.
if she has a BF then she is a slut/ attention whore or is in fact fobbing you off

I just fucking hate when a woman is labelled as a whore and a slut just because she is being friendly. This girl had some time to kill. This friendly, sociable Winner asked if she wanted to go shopping with him and maybe asked her for advice on some baby clothes. Then winner thought she might be interested (probably reading the wrong signals of her) and asked her number. Alarm bells ringing, and she said NO. And now she is a whore and slut...ermmm?????????

ok so lets say for example you Legend my dear are in a long term realtionship with a girl-- seeing each other for 5 years, ultra committed and serious, engaged and living together.

So late that night you ask her outright --

she admits it and says she was killing some time and this guy came chatting to her so they both went shopping tryong on clothes.

How would you feel?

Well I didn't think she was a slut or a whore, you guys ran with that rather, actually I thought she might have been a class act who saw straight through winner but decided decided to reward him for his efforts and allow him to get a little education, in an almost maternal, "knowing" fashion. I held back saying it originally 'cos I didn't want to dampen his enthusiasm. In my book, this makes her both compassionate and wise, and all the more interesting for it. That was my instinct, I couldn't otherwise reconcile the conflicting sides of a seemingly high value catch going on an insta date whilst in a relationship, but I may be reading too much into it, it's just a hunch. Maybe she was just being friendly, maybe he had a chance for a while there, it's so difficult to tell from a few lines of text.

On my very first sarge (Day Game) back in January 2009 with Kowalski, MFI (Terry), Swype and Jynx, I went to NEXT.
