I think the title says it all.

Spent a couple of hours on the streets of London with another wing, and managed to speak to ONE set (Italian mother-daughter combination):
'You guys look lost'
'Nope, we're OK thanks'

I felt like I had stage fright today; it was not a good feeling at all.

On a more positive note, I managed to hold eye contact with a couple of girls walking towards me. However, actually stopping them was a completely different situation altogether.

I know what I need to do, it's just the bloody doing it (i.e. not worry about the consequence).

Definitely a low point today, but then I remember the wise words of the Courage Wolf:

First time I tried opening a set. I was told 'what do want can't you see we are busy'.

several drinks later, tried another set, 'fuck off I've got a boyfriend and my friend is not interested.

No word of a lie

Just go out and do it again, you'll mess up again, so what!!

It eventually comes together believe me

Im very direct when I do day game. No point beating around the bush. Make sure she knows youre chatting her up. It will come across as ultra confidence (which is all good!) if you go indirect, you'll come across as shifty... You don't want her to think you're trying to rob her!!

"hi, was just walking by and I saw you from over there... I just had to stop you and say you look really nice."

Then explain what it is you like about her; style, the way she walks, her confident dimenor, etc and get her to talk about herself.

Then go from there to start off with.

Couldn't quite break through the AA wall huh? We've all been there.

I suspect that the failure the fully open the first set you tried put you on the back-foot and you lost your confidence, right?

Monkeybuster is exactly right that you need to make your intentions clear. Three kinds of people will stop girls in the street. The ones trying to sell you something, the weirdos and the guys on the pull. If you're not selling something, you're one of the other two, and you need to make it clear which one straight up.

The "I like this certain thing about you" is good as it's obviously direct, but conversely that's why I don't use it. Like my FR from the other day doing day game. Both times I managed to slip in under the radar, but that's just how I chose to operate.

You need to realise that:

a) You're worth knowing / talking to,
b) She's privileged to have your time and attention
c) The worst thing that could possibly happen is you get told to fuck off.

Once you've go that in your head, you'll rid yourself of that AA and just start to enjoy the day-gaming.

Don't let it get you down though, and if I were you I'd get out there doing it again asap so you can blow out the cobwebs and not let it compile in your head.

If necessary, just warm up with basics and use any easy situation to open, asking for directions, girls with camera, if they look lost whatever.
