I'm no expert but maybe you are on the right track by switching to a boring conversation, talking about where you live where you work and so so is pretty dull.

Maybe go back to the guessing game of where you live and being a bit playful with it you could maybe keep the banter going?

As I was there on Friday i'll give you my 2p.

That 2 set was a "take me home tonight" set, you just needed a wing to pull it off.

The opener on the street was good, you hugged her while I kept her mate busy so she felt comfortable. They were up for it cos they followed us back to the bar.

You did everything right with the blondie good kino etc but her mate was kinda left standing up for too long. You just needed a wing to occupy her mate (who was alright actually) and then the two of you could have double number closed, signal from both girls they are cool and move it off to your house party as that club was pretty lame.

Even if they weren't ready to go home on the same night, the follow up would have been been a given as they both would have had a date then.

i always try 2 get the girl 2 buy me 1 and usually they do lol, then il get her 1 back later if she's lucky.

It's a fine line. If it looks like you are trying to buy her or her company she will know this and take the drink you bought her back to her mates. I tend to avoid buying drinks for girls for this reason. On the other hand if you've established good vibes with her - like K probably did - then sure thing.

And yeah, like you say Adam. It's nice to reward her for coming into the venue with you. It's more a common courtesy at this stage.

Ugly girls suck!

When I first got into all this I would warm-up by chatting to the ugly girls to build up my confidence as naievely I thought they would be easier and rather arrogantly thought they would welcome my attention. How wrong I was!! Getting shot-down by ugly girls is a real kick in the teeth. Contrary talking to hotter girls always tends to yield a more postive response they just tend to be happier people generally.

I think ugly girls are so used to playing second fiddle to their more attractive counter-parts that they feel rather bitter and have more of a distain for men and probably seek enjoyment and recieve an ego boost by shooting down men. I now try my damndest to avoid any interactions with ugly women.

The worst I find are two sets with one ugly girl and one hot girl, you can open the set and talk to both girls showing them equal amount of attention. Often I find the ugly girl to be quite guarded and icy and the hot girl to be more relaxed and open. As soon as the ugly girl gets a sniff at the game you are playing at she interjects and will either drag her friend away or say something to get you to eject. Its very frustrating.

I think alot of the time this boils down to ego protection, the ugly girl does not want to be cast-aside for the night and will do her best to prevent that from happening.

I've got to the point now where I'm not willing to politely accept this behaviour and I feel like saying 'Oi! shut your pie-hole, just because you were dealt a poor hand and nobody finds you attractive it doesnt give you the right to sabotage my conversation with your more attractive friend!'.....hmm I doubt that will go down too well but in my head it's what I want to say!

Im a little suprised you talked to the ugly girl Adam, you have good taste in women surely talking to ugly girls bores the fuck out of you! as it does with me.
