Interesting. Last night I was chatting one of my girl housemates and we got talking about some hot guy she likes. She was talking about how she wouldn't scour through someone's Facebook profile as she might find something she might not like about them... thus she's avoiding breaking the good image/feeling she has of the guy. Now this girl is fairly shallow and even to her I think ideals are perhaps more important that hard facts.

I therefore wonder if most girls actually do bother wasting their time like us men perving at Facebook and dating sites, I get the impression probably not.

I have to disagree mate, I think they are even worse.

I guess we won't know unless we ask them all, and even then they could be justing saying it. All we can do is assume.

Interesting this, a girl I'm seeing was pestering me to add her on facebook, I didn't want to but a non-community friend advised me that I should. So I accepted. Since then she's been distant with me and suddenly has a full schedule so can't hang out......hmmm coincidence??

Why did your friend tell you to accept out of interest? It sounds like you are now getting paranoid as a result and are associating her schedule with her not liking you.

Imagine a world where a girl couldnt text you tomorrow or facebook you later and her only choice was to come home with you right then.... Lol!!!

Interesting point Dolphin. Texting and Facebook has given everyone an excuse to be lazy. Maybe if it didn't exist we would all make more effort to escalate to a lay that very night.

@ Amanda, good work. Escalation is defo a tricky one and I really struggled with the concept initially. I too still feel uncertain at times. Just keep ploughing away/practicing and pushing the boundaries of your escalation comfort zone... and I guess those doubts will start to disappear.

There's a lot to be said for doing that. If you go out looking for girls to approach, that means you're not focussing on your enjoyment 100% of the time.

I learnt this on Friday night. I got myself all pumped up to go out, went out purely with women in mind, and ended up deflating when I got out to find a lack of approachable women in the club.

The girls will come, and when they do, you'll be in the right place to talk to them. Until they do, just have a craic with your mates, and show everyone that you don't need women to complete your night, but they might need you to complete theirs.

If you build it, they will come.
