Okaay, my posts are bad press. Chuck all that out and we have the positives.
I'm starting on the right track now thank's to, well everyone really. So, now I have this new perception on it all I can start to really make some headway.

My plan is simple really.... I get myself out approaching everywhere.

Then as a motivator for me and also so I'm not talking shit I'll post weekly field reports with my top 3 approaches, hopefully have enough time to break it down precisely and highlight the positives and negatives, hell I know they're be loads! Then offer them out and I'd appreciate criticism; it motivates me like crazy!
The weekly posts will be in this journal, time to show you guys the real me without the books haa.

I went out yesterday with some friends, didn't stay out as long as I would have liked. Communicated and teased with the waitress, ended up giving her my number in Roman numerals since she had a Roman numerals bracelet on. Thought "if she can work it out, she deserves it" ... Got a text off her.

Tonight I'm going out for my friends birthday, Sundays arn't the best days but still possibilities are endless.

So went out tonight for my friends birthday party and he had a few girls there, most I vaguely remembered from school and were now BIG!
There was this 1 lass there, not stunning but..nice. Anyway I was laughing/joking around with mates and it got me specifically quite a bit of attention from the pre-drink outing girls over to me left. 1 in particular was looking my way quite a lot so I approached (wouldn't of done even that before!) It was a big group of girls but managed to do really well. I got a kiss close when she was leaving, probably could have pushed for her number or Facebook (will give it a try soon Nova) but didn't.
Talked to the other nice girl me friend knew for a while along with other girls who merged groups with us (our group was clearly having the most fun in the venue).

This was just a great night for hitting multiple approaches and a great foundation for the rest of the week.

Went out tonight, completely shit.
When I'm finding it hard to get anything I seem to fallback on improvised canned material, which is shit really because its not helping me at all.

I was really not in the right fame of mind today either but that is just a factor; its not a good enough reason.

Positive for today was that I was frequently good with fun teasing remarks off the whim, more than usual.
Also had a try of the Facebook close to which I got 4 and accepted but I'm not too interested in continuing the conversation. Possibly that might change after a sleep

Sat in the local pub today after 4 hours of Tylers decoded and whilst I wait for Flawless Natural to increase the "used" space on my PC harddrive.
Anyway these guys were just your average normal guy, 1 with the laugh of Jimmy Carr (fucking brilliant) and 1 that looked like an unshaved caveman.
So I decided that I would try and open every person that walked past; even the waiters and waitresses. I figured this would help me in diverse openers.

So I went from the usual inside jokes with the bar staff all the way to off the whim specific things like "ohh I wouldn't sit there, you're in my line of sight, I like to look at the pretty pictures on the wall"...
I opened about 12 people, some (ie the waiters/waitresses) several times.

I got to the point where I was kinda lost for things to open with but I didn't want to hit the "replay" button. So, I kinda stared towards the bar area in an awkward state of deep thought when I realised that there was a nice girl staring back at me. I quickly smiled but remained at the same body language.
Then completely out of character, I pointed at her and then curled the finger back towards me as a sort of "come here" gesture. Straight away I thought fuck why did I do that!? But she came over with her drink and sat with us until her friends came.

Also I overcame resistance 4 times to getting a girls phone number through DAY GAME, which was pretty cool.
"...because I'm the most interesting guy you've talked to today, you don't want tomorrow to be AS boring as this morning do you?"
So far done on 5 people, got 4 numbers...

Went out with the family today to the park. It was full of people, everywhere.
Took my puppy as well and when she saw the very nice girls running to keep fit or whatever she pulled on the lead to run for them so me being me I decided to show the girls how it's done.
Ran with my puppy at a decent pace and caught up to them. When I got there I slowed down to their pace. 1 was blonde and the other brunette, weren't really great but so fuck, this was my attempt to do more diverse openers off the whim.

I said to them both whilst still running and holding the lead (which is bloody tricky stuff!) "here (pass the blonde the dogs lead) she'll help you to keep up with your pace... her names Ruby. Don't love her, like her. She's mine!" - Not really good to be honest but it was off the whim and anyway it doesn't really matter how you open, in a certain sense, right?
Anyway she took the lead and after about 10 minutes of running, attempting to talk and just ending up with a stitch, I decided that I'd had enough so I took my dog and went back to find my family.

I saw the girls later on and they stopped to tell me I was a really good runner and it's an awesome idea to bring a dog. This was in-front of my family. I fucking flopped.
For some reason I thought it to be awkward to escalate or to even get a phone number in-front of my family. I'm not even sure why. It pissed me off. It's still pissing me off.
I have the urge to go back sometime soon in a 'finish the job' kinda attitude.

Anyway that kinda put me off approaches for the whole duration of the park visit and also made me question my mindset.
It shows a weak mindset to me. This has to change.

Alright guys, need an opinion on this.

Just got 3 random messages this morning simultaneously after each other off the Facebook girl from earlier. The one who I decided to walk away from just over a week ago.
She's telling me her mam's got terminal cancer and had it before but now got it again and everything's turned upside down and she's in a bit of a mess.

What the fuck do/can I say to that, if anything?

Has she not got any friends she can talk to??

I'd expect she does. Dunno if it was her way of initiating contact or something.

I'm unsure if I should reply or what really
