Are there implications for using a home address in regards to who you rent off? I rent of a housing association and I wonder if I would be required to tell them.

If you don't own the address at which the company is registered against (renting for example), you need to obtain permission from the landlord or property owner prior to registering the company.

Ok, so I'll have to do that bit in reverse, because I've already registered my company name.

It's dormant right now though, plus I don't foresee that I'll ever be physically be trading from the address.

I'll call to their office tomorrow or Friday lunch time to ask them whether it's ok.

Finally completed my degree a few days ago. Fucking freedom. Get the official result mid-July.

Which means I can now turn my full attention to that which I've been banging on about for the past year or 2 - Business

At present I'm kind of restricted, at least legally, because I'm still waiting on word back from the manager of the housing association I rent off, to grant permission to use my address as a business address. I'm hoping being upfront and honest about my request works in my favour, although it's been more than 4 weeks now.

I'm not set on an idea yet anyway, so in the meantime I'll work on figuring that out.

Less than a week after finishing a degree and I'm studying again already

The other day in work everyone was chatting shit about their favourite TV shows such as game of thrones and all that rubbish, and I was asked to contribute. I said I don't watch TV shows or TV for that matter. Puzzled by my response, I was asked what I do in my spare time. I told them I could be 'reading, studying, learning something new online, watching educational videos and seminars about business and other topics on YouTube, amongst some other things like obviously the gym' and some looked at me like I had 2 heads.

When pressed further as to why i don't watch TV shows I told them I'm not interested in setting fire to my time and would rather invest it doing something that benefits me, that rushing home from work to plant my ass on the sofa watching marathon after marathon on Netflix is just a complete waste of time, and the polar opposite of what i'd rather do.

It wasn't as serious sounding as this text would make the conversation seem but some I believe are genuinely bewildered that I go against the grain of the majority (for example they also all know I don't use Facebook yet they're all addicted), and then there's others I believe are secretly envious that I'm so pro-actively keen on continual self-improvement, but I don't care because read my tag line below..
