I find increasing amounts of girls much prefer texting and i think they sometimes even purposely not answer their phone, not because there not interested but because they are shy to talk to a guy on the phone they have only met once. Is this true or is it just me? I think this is more the case with younger girls....aged 18 to 22, generally the ones i go for.

Most girls I know now would never speak on the phone to me, and I'm sure they would each have a unique reason why not.

Its strange cos, back when I was like 15 - 16, all the girls wanted to chat on the phone all the time. Now they have like, "gone off it"..

Ring them. It gives you the upper hand over the other chodes hiding behind their text and Facebook msgs.

personally i would get a txt from them before you ring-- that way they are pressured into taking the call because they have just txt you so its not like they can pretend they are asleep or really busy

Its an interesting point I concur, I tend to avoid girls that young, but I had a 23 yr old called her 3 or 4 times (hey we all make mistakes) texted me back after the last time saying she can meet me in a bar.

lol yea guys i prefer to speak on the phone as well. But our goal is to create comfort for a woman and what I’m saying is a lot of girls are uncomfortable with a guy calling them they barely know! I think there must be certain amounts of time spent with a girl before you can start calling them. I mean if u pick up a girl in 15minutes and start calling them it’s a bit weird don’t you think?? Maybe not to you but to the girl they will perceive it as weird. But if u spent a few hours with a girl and took her on an instant date then you will have a deeper emotional connections, meaning its safe for u to call without making her feel uncomfortable.
So really there should be a strategy on when its appropriate to call and when its appropriate to txt.
