By the way I wouldn't recommend Sasha's opener; "don't panic I am not a robber, I just want to say you look amazing" as it just gets things off to a bad start. I read on another pua forum someone had a bad reaction with this line. Instead I would keep it more lighthearted. Avoid negative terms like "don't panic" and "robber" and say something like: "Hello, excuse me, I'm not going to try to sell you something I just wanted to say you look amazing". If you understand psychology you will know that when you mention negative things people will always feel more negative than if you hadn't mentioned them.

By the way I don't think there is much wrong with approach anxiety in itself as being a bit nervous when approaching a woman makes you appear natural. Last year a guy gave a talk about this at the London Saturday Sarge. He basically said that if you are trying to learn natural game then abolishing approach anxiety completely is not going to make you appear more natural, it will make you appear unnatural and robotic. As long as your approach anxiety is not so bad that it stops you from approaching altogether then a little AA is a good thing.

If you think about women get approached during the day by market researchers, religious evangelists, charity fundraiser and beggars who all approach without fear. And you need to stand out from those people so you need to make it more obvious that you are approaching a woman because you are hitting on her and a little bit of fear is going to make it look like you are hitting on her.
