As some of you know I'm currently in a relationship so I thought I post something about it and share some advice pyromaniak sent me in a PM (hope you don't mind dude). Some of it also applies to picking up women too and some of you are here to find a relationship.

I'm not saying I'm a relationship master but even though this forum is mainly concerned with picking up girls at some point you might find a girl you want to embark on a serious relationship with, so I thought I'd start a thread.

I don't advise marrying the first girl you successfully hook up with, I used to end up in relationships with the first girl that came along. Although it is possible to find someone awesome straight off, be picky.

With the current Mrs there was a point where I was worrying if this was what I really wanted, was I just in this for the sex and was she really into me?

So I just started talking to her about loads of random things not really caring, thinking or screening what I was saying we talked about history, science, atheism, beliefs and exes. She said It was really interesting and wasn't sure why I was with her because she thought she wasn't that interesting (she is though).

It's funny to find that people are not thinking about you but what you think of them, unless you're being creepy and weird. We really clicked after this too or maybe it was that I knew I had found someone I could just speak my mind with, she also likes Mogwai too www.myspace.com/mogwai

I guess the key is to banish self doubt and be confident in yourself, what you say and what you believe.

In terms of PUA stuff the RSD stuff (make stuff fun for you, not seeking approval etc) and K, Jynx and Swype telling me not to think just say whatever, also applies to relationships too.
If this does all go wrong I know I've got the skills to go out and find more women, which I think actually helps in a relationship too.

I've also found that quite a few women I've been with have had bad things happen to them, I'm not talking about just getting dumped, I mean things you wouldn't wish upon anyone.
Even though things don't work out in the long run you can still be a force for good, you just listening and being there helps.

Anyway hopes this helps people and I'll still come out with you guys but just won't be after any action.
