22 Central Scotland Hi to all, just like to say I'm so relieved that this is here. I recently finished reading 'The Game' and watching 'The Pickup Artist', and have decided that immersing myself in this type of lifestyle is the thing that I need to conquer my troubles with women. My main problem is that I give off a real unapproachable vibe when I'm not with friends or with other people so I tend to suffer for it. When I do talk to women I can get it going and then cock it up by offending them or 'over-negging' them as I like to think of it now. I've so far adjusted this tendency as best I can and am seeing slight improvement in terms of the way people I know interact with me. This is the first step in a long journey, and would appreciate anyone who can aid me along the way. Cheers Tailored

My advice is just keep on at it, try to have fun and try not to think of what people are thinking about you. You're on the right road because you're identifying problems and trying to fix them, it won't happen over night but you'll get there. Hay mate welcome.
I used to have the same problem. All I had for flirting with girls was taking the piss. Maybe its a cultural thing. While I'm no player that that's something I have fixed. Do you feel like you have nothing else to say if you don't "over neg" them? One piece of advice I would give you is, don't work too hard to entertain them or make them laugh. Its not necessary.

Welcome mate. Don't label yourself as an "AFC", you're just a guy who loves women. Remember that! The fact that you're willing to improve yourself sets you apart from other guys. However, just by being normal (i.e not nervous, your normal relaxed self) with women can do wonders, without routines and tactics.

Thanks for the words of encouragement guys, really appreciate it, as it so often something that I can't talk to people about for fear of seeming like a pathetic wanker who has something wrong with them.
