I find it absurd that Mystery and Neil Strauss (i refuse to call him Style) still get props as these guys fucking milked the scene and continue to do so but for some reason people are willing to stick with them. I can not believe the amount of people on this forum that wanted to meet that stupid cunt in Manchester. Also I think Mystery gets a role on this movie. They guy create an underground scene, milk it to fuck, continues to do so and STILL people buy into it! Top marketing! TBH i have more respect for some like Ross Jeffries. Despite the fact he seems a little nuts and i am sure there were lots of times in the late 90s he could have sold his SS stuff to Hollywood/MTV he never did bar 1 or 2 TV spots

I mean even watching this preview i am seeing they have all the classic PUA openers in there, opinions and so on

What makes me laugh is it opening on Valentines day. I can just imagine the amount of guys who have used this stuff just to get a decent GF (if a lot of guys in this scene are REALLY honest with themselves that is still what they are after even with all the dechoding...........who wants to dies a wrinkly old 60 year old by himself) on their current GFs watching this and fucking cringing in their seat when pretty much the exact line they used to pick her up crops up in this movie.

Funny all the same. More props for the natural game.............which the more i read into is the simplest thing in the world. No more cold reading for me

Don't worry about it guys, this is not going to be some expose that will render 'pick-up' obsolete. This shits been going on since the dawn of time. What's the worst that will happen? you might need to vary your openers, sack-off hand writing analysis and esp techniques.....and good riddance to all that crap!!!

Most peoples memorys are like sieves...this movie will be forgotten about weeks after its release and most likely straight to DVD in this country anyway...that's even if it gets released! Kowalski was telling me they've been trying to release this movie for a few years now with no success.

It's all very well slagging off Mystery for selling out but to be honest how many people are going to turn down Millions of dollars if its thrown at them by some suited corporate guys if they see an investment in your concept/product??...not many, me included. So I take my (big pink fluffy cowboy) hat off to him!

I agree with you on the money making scheme these guys are generating, absolutely disgusting but to totally dissing out MM, etc is just plain arrogant. Im erring to the natural way now but if it isnt for MM, routines, the game etc etc, I (and many others) would have never found this community and meet some cool, awesome dudes...!

Not sure what you mean here? Mystery and the others create a load of canned routines that they know (despite saying come up with your own ideas) will be regurgitated by the vast majority of people who pay for their material-they know people are lazy and looking for the magic bullet, marketing 101. Then they sell it all in books for 10 quid a time and to VH1 for nada at its all cool? That's not entirely true about Ross Jefferies, he likes to boast that one of his claims to fame is that he was the inspiration for the character Frank.T.J.Mackey (played by Tom Cruise no less) in Paul Thomas Andersons film 'Magnolia'. Arguably one of Hollywoods biggest star-studded block-busters in the last 10 years.

Ooooh I was cringing hearing the who lies more opener - mainly because I used it myself when I first got into pick up but also cos it really is gash.

Oh no a pick up film that reveals MM techniques! I can't say i'm that bothered, i'm not a fan of using them.
Surely Mystery has to be careful how much he publicises his methods because it might reach a tipping point and once a girl knows what to look for his game's finished.

It doesn't look like he's adapted it much either unlike RSD who seem to want to progress and change. It's quite easy to make an impact with MM stuff because you can boil it down to simple components and lines so it sells well.

I'd just like to make the point that if it weren't for Mystery and Style i doubt you would have discovered this PUA and discovered this forum. Like it or not they (along with Jeffries and DeAngelo I would say) help make this community what it is today. Fair enough you may not like them, that's cool, but you cannot deny their influence and totally right them off, I feel.

Amen to you on this Hustler. To be honest I was a bit worried about exposure of our underground scene after watching this trailer, but you're right - it probably won't get released (it looks like a bit of a shit film anyway) and even if it does, and even if some routines get exposed, what's really going to change? So guys like me who are relatively new and still using canned stuff have to change some routines and openers. That can only be a good thing - repetition leads to stagnation and stagnation leads to carelessness.

Besides it'd be fun to go and see this, especially for all the girls who would say stuff like "oh there's no way that'd work on me!"
