You can know everything there is about picking up girls and not know any of the terms.
I'm not saying don't understand the terms. My point is that using them in conversation you can in the same amount of time use normal phrases. Instead you get away from the language of the people you want to talk to and into a less expressive acronyms. "It is if he puts his balls between the strings, and strums himself to ecstasy!"
