A new temp receptionist has started in our office and she is really pretty, for the sake of this post we will call her Alice

I have casual banter with the other receptionists but not chatted to Alice properly yet. So one of the receptionists tells my work friend that Alice has an interest in me ( Great ) he then continues to tell her that it would be a bad idea for Alice to consider dating me as I " Put it about abit " ( MAssive cock block )

just a side note relating to my work friend, He does these things for the " Lol's " and to contribute to our break time banter with the other lads. He is married at 31, expecting a baby and his wife isnt quite a looker so I let this current event slide.Also he isnt vindictive in nature.

So I used the cock block to my advantage and approached the Alice and the other receptionists together. I said the following to both of them " What ever my friend said has been saying about me is 100% absolutely true "

Alice turned to the side being a little embarrassed ( i think! ) while the receptionist replies to me " What..that your a womaniser ? "

me : "I think my friend has the wrong impression about how I treat women..But I do love them! "

Receptionist " Laughs... Well when are you going to take Alice on a date then?! "

me : " Ill ask her in a week's time.. I dont want to seem to keen!"

then I walk off. Later on i catch Alice on her own behind receptionist and just approach her to talk about anything. Ended up chatting for a few mins and she laughed at some of the low level humour I put out.


So what to do now....My rough plan is now because I have been unofficially introduced and able to have some banter with Alice. I plan to chat casually every other day till I think its time for a close
