i have started going out by myself during the day doing abit of day game. At the minute all my friends are on holiday so im wondering should i go out to bars and clubs at night by myself. I think it may be seen as a dhv by some girls though so any advice on this would be good. I have been out a few times sober with my friends when they were all drinking and there aa got to me and put me off so being on my own could help aswell.

I've never been out by myself as i always go out with the guys on here, but the one time i went out on a works night out (no PUA's at all), i ended up running around the bar by myself approaching sets and that was the night i had my biggest break throughs.

I don't know what sort of game you run, but if its in direct opinion openers and one of them is about a 'friend', when you say the line, you just gesture to another group of people as though they are your friends.. no issues with that at all, and once you've befriended a set you can use that as social value for the next set (Anthony does that when we are all out to very good advantage)

I go out solo alot. It takes practice to get over AA. If you do go out solo, make sure you try to get into a talkative mood asap. Talk to the bouncers, bar staff, other guys! My favourite line to guys is "what do you think of the totty in here today" I find it easy to strike conversations out in the smoking area..if you smoke the odd fag, you scan "spark" good interactions outside. At some stage (maybe the next time you go out), while solo you can introduce guys to other women. Guys will love you for it, generates a lot of social proof and the ladies love it.

I did this once for the first time at a festival the other week. Basically lots of bars in one area, people around.

I kept trying to improve my social value, opening sets, merging too.

start of the night: on my own, with no phone signal, shit inner state, time to try.

then befriended a mad couple, and a few others - I was literally using them as a pawn to move on. Then in the venue, opening sets, and finally the breakthrough for me at least - meeting a solo guy. He was in a similar boat, and I got him to wing for me. Opened a set (mixed), rocking it and moving about with the new wing. He was literally there for social value only.

Merged with some girls standing nearby - then rocked this set. Some serious shit tests from the 'mother hen' of the group, then getting some tension with the target. Escalation, and some shit tests later, then k-close, n-close, and back to the tent for some god-awful sex. The mother hen, after literally five minutes, came bursting into the tent to 'break things up'. Two consensual adults, what the fuck!!

fun night, for me the motto was to open, merge, get social value, and perhaps pick up a wing. I don't have the right inner frame to be truly confident in my own skin alone at night. Would be interested to know if anyone else in here can do this consistently (surely kowalski, and Jinx after a few pints? )

Interesting to hear the mind of kowalski - I can relate to much of what you say too. Fine line between creating a decent mentality, and creating a delusional world; as a philosopher I'm sure you'd have more to say on that!

I'd be interested to see what other people think of solo game too, particularly Swype, as I get the impression he uses 'game' in a more technical sense like I was doing, merging, creating value etc. I'm not as mindful of this stuff when I'm out with wings, but solo I was really concentrating on it. Eventually, when in the final set, I was 'in state' - but it took game techniques to get me there.
