Savage if doing it right (i.e. starting a fair and equal "relationship" with a girl) then you should both share the bill, i.e. you might get dinner but she gets the taxi and after-dinner drinks.

This year since I've stopped being an afc, i have been bought more drinks that I have bought for girls and on dates we always share the bill somehow like above. However if she's a student or skint for a decent reason and you can afford to there's no need to be a cock a bout it.

I would say be prepared to pay for everything on the first few dates, if she does not offer to pay for anything and that is a quality in her that you dont like then ditch her and move on. If you dont mind paying then carry on, it's all about letting her live up to your standards.
