Everyone is always evaluating those around them, it's not possible to stop doing it. That however does not mean everyone contemplates cheating, or goes ahead with it.

I think it's important to point out (which a couple have mentioned) that this is the behaviour of some but not all. The belief that this is how everyone is like is could cause a pretty quick decent into hating women and misogynism.

If you think someone is horrible, don't fuck them, have higher standards.

I'm not saying we are some kind of holier than thou saints, far from it, just that in most of the advice here people offer a decent and realistic stance on being a well-grounded sociable person.

I agree the advice on this site is good cos you get the harsh reality and peeps discuss other issues such as depression and anxiety which is helpful. I think pick up has improved my life a lot because I'm seeing the world for what it is.

You ever read "In a different voice: psychological theory and women's development" by Carol Gilligan?

It's heavy going, but in it she describes the developmental differences between boys and girls in social situations that involve moral/ethical obstacles during childhood. It makes for uneasy reading to learn how different the genders are in some ways.

Phil. I believe I mentioned before that my mum owns a makeup school. It's part of their house. I grew up with models around me and looks mean little to me. A good looking girl is a good looking girl and anyone without a weight problem is capable of that with nothing but the right style, effort and grooming. Everything after standard goodlooking/not is then determined by other factors. Factors that raise and lower their attractiveness based on my opinion of them. A horrible person is a horrible person, I couldn't get it up for someone like that, completely unattractive.
