Ugh I'd like to say Carmarda's thousandth post was good, but all of his posts in this thread have been chodey and made me feel sick. Particularly mentions of destiny and God deciding things. puke. IMO, if the whole pick-up thing is just a big con, it has had one distinctly positive placebo effect on me: I am no longer so scared of talking to woman who I am not already acquainted with.

Since starting this, I have undoubtably become a more confident person on many levels. And so in that respect, PU certainly has its place.

Can't really comment on RSD or any other schools of thought though - I have read little to no pick-up material, apart from that contained on this very fine forum.
