I would say yes, for several reasons ...

Women can smell virginity and sexual desperation like a cheap aftershave, you really don't want to be giving off that vibe.

Saving it for "someone special" can backfire badly because you risk a severe case of one-itis and if she really was special to you then you risk being heart broken if it ends up being crap for her (which is a VERY high probably) and she then leaves you.

I really cant see a downside to it (other than the financial aspect obviously).
