If somone lies to you or attempts to Deceive you either Directly or Indirectly
Do you hold them to account for this and call them on it?

Example 1:
A friend i have known for 15 years, adds a girl to his facebook from my friends list, chats to her - she tells him she is going on dates with me, he flirts with her, offers to meet her.

Do i just cut him out of my life because he isnt worth my time of day or do i confront him?

Example 2:
Emailing a girl, exchanged a few emails -- i get a vibe that she is a little frosty to me. - i leave it a couple of days and email her asking if she still wants to chat.
She says she doesnt think this online dating thing is for her and she is coming off the website i met her from and will instead go out with her friends.
(i read between the lines in saying, she is not interested in me personally - especially as i can tell she is online on the website)

She has very little value to me--i have an abundance of girls-- do i just move onto the next target or do i call her on her lies to me when i see her still on the same website Online a week later


I am just really interested in what you guys think about these examples and the concept of walking away or calling people on lies and deception to you in general.

a) Your mate is a desperate fool. If you value your friendship with him then it's worth bringing up with him and calling him out on it.

b) I wouldn't bother wasting my time calling out the girl, like you say you are living your life in abundance, thus she's not significant in the scheme of things. Plus, what is the likelyhood of you changing her bad mannered way of dealing with things?

A) I would confront my friend, I've actually got a mate who is like this goes round stalking on Facebook adding everyones girl mates to chat to them. Pisses me off at times because I get girls messaging me saying "who is this creep" when they see I'm his only mutual friend. I tell him that hes creeped her, I tell him to stop upsetting her and to back off.

I've considered removing him off Facebook but considering hes someone I see with friends on an almost daily basis I've so far not because of the hassle. If he continues and really upsets someone then I might say to him I'm removing you because you keep upsetting girls I know and it needs to stop.

B) I would have just left her to it.

Man that's crap. Maybe there's some way of restricting what he can see. I doubt he'd call you out on it in front of your friends as it'd be pretty embarassing on his part as he'd become known as a Facebook stalker.

I'm not the only guy he does it to, I've had conversations with other people who him going through there friends too.

Thing is he sometimes does come across abit weird and needy and talks about wanting someone to move in with when hes just met them.

A) im going to call him out in front of as many people as i can

B) i am going to stab her to death and bury her in the garden... just kidding -- i`ll forget her, not give her any value by responding

Good point Adam. If you only have her side of the story then you will have to see what your friend of 15 years has to say first.

a) confront him, that's dodgy from someone who supposed to be a friend.

b) move on to the next, she has no value to you.

a) fuck him off or tell him if he ever pulls any shit like that off again u wont hesitate to pull his teeth with plyars.

B) ask her if she will be ur new best friend or for fun, set up a new profile (fake) with a perfect man... looks, job etc (u must know enuf) then pull the EXACT same shit (if u have the time)
