Glad to hear you're meeting people all the time. I started a new job this year with a very big company and that has expanded my horizons. But before that, things had stagnated a bit - same job with small company for a few years, same group of friends etc.

How do you meet new people, Midas? Do you take yourself out (theatre, cinema, galleries etc) or have friends that you go out socialising with? I ask because the majority of my friends have paired off, so going out with the purpose of making new friends or meeting girls is a rare occurrence

About the grammar; I'm an English teacher/writer/editor/translator so I can't help it.

About meeting new people; I go out in the evening around bars and just open set after set.

I have groups of friends, most of them younger than me, but I prefer to be a social butterfly and not stay in one place with the same people.

I also know a lot of Erasmus students, so I get introduced to new foreign girls quite often.

nah, coz its not filth mate.... its just about being so UN PHASED by peoples reactions & comfortable in what i say, that people feel comfortable around u... i dont have hangups on how people perceive me, so i have no issue with dancin in the middle of th street on my own or acting up... or just bein a fool

im either loved or loathed..

loathed by those who mostly would lve to have an inhibition free quality

and loved by those who are willing to learn and have fun

at that same principle i dont like maing myself out to be beneath people THATS JUST DAFT (unless necessary)

when I was 25 I had my "bad relationship breakup" and it haunted and savaged me for over 6 years... it consumed me and made me the most negative and the most women hating person ever, I was also obsssed with what people thought of me. This was until 7 months ago when I discovered pickup.

Im now 33 and go out 4 nights a week, go to the swimming pool 5 times a week and have joined 3 local clubs..

Im meeting about 3 times as many people as I did when I was 25, so "age" isnt an issue, I believe its the way you think about yourself as you get older, which ultimately shows in your personaility.. Its easy to meet people just get about there and do it..
