I am very new to the game and I have been useing one opinion opener to open women.

I say "excuse me, can I have your opinion on something? or something like this.
Then I say "who lies more? men or women? "

I am just wondering if this is a good opener to begin with and whether I should just stick to one opinion opener or use many. I have learned a lot from just asking this about women by what they have said and when I use the opinion opener again , I always have more information to say, but I find that the question, although was interesting to begin with, is becoming becoming a bit boring for me, even though I can very different answers from women.

So I am confused about whether I should just stick to one opinion opener, and become good with it or use many. How many opinion openers is best to begin with? How many do you use?

First off don't be apologetic as Darkstar suggests and secondly, just keep experimenting. There's no right or wrong line.

I see, I never thought of it as being apolagetic , but polite. As a way of getting attention. I thought if you just go up to a woman and ask her a question when she is in the process of doing something is a bit rude, and that she may ignore me.

Go in high energy, and just go hey! Me and my mates where just discussing something, could you give me a female opinion?

HB: blah blah

What do you prefer cold or hot custard? or any other opinion, followed by a story relating to your opener.

Remember an opener is just that, nothing else. It is not a magic pick up line, it's just to make the set talking. Then transition and start gaming, push pull etc.

Yes that is true , but I see an opener as stage in a series of stages. I feel that openers matter, as some of them are bound to be interesting or not to women.

I actually think it would be wise to use different openers with different sorts of women and in different contexts. But I am not that advanced yet.

Of course , if you have good social skills, you should be able to do well with even a bad opener.

I have noticed openers work so much better than say 'how are you?' or 'how was your day?' as people sometimes just say 'fine' or 'alright', even when their say was shit , perhaps indicating they are not interested in talking about it.

To be frank being polite is the way forward. After all you're only gaining her attention, you could easily say, 'hey girls' too. It'll barely register.

You should definitely have a range of openers, you said yourself you are getting bored using that one. If you are bored, dont expect the set to be too excited about what you are saying. There are loads out there, or you can just make some up.

I don't like to open with opinion openers, I prefer high energy or situational. I'll then direct the conversation within the first minute or so and drop in an opinion opener. That way it just becomes part of your normal conversation. The best thing about opinion openers is that you don't *have* to open with them, you can just drop them into conversation.
