In my experience your best bet is to just bother with her less and less until she misses you and then when she reaches out you gotta show her you're fine on your own but at the same time she has a chance to win you back. Then it's game as normal

That seems to me more like a cat-string theory strategy for getting back with her than defeating oneitis.

Well I was assuming he wanted to get back with her. If you just want to get over her I suppose doing something similar will work and just getting an ego-boost if she tries to get back with you.

I seem to suffer from regular Oneitis, whenever I game a really hot girl i get oneitis, I won't let it effect my game, but it certainly affects my head at times. Best bet is just to go out there and game some more people, and you won't let it affect you as much.
