But is that really getting over 'oneitis', or is that just trying to make it seem like you don't care, so she chases, and then you get back with her?
That seems to me more like a cat-string theory strategy for getting back with her than defeating oneitis.
The bit where you said 'bother with her less and less' is spot on. But when (if?) she comes back to you after this, you need to still stay away.
Anyway Phil, I'm glad it seems to have worked. I guess the real test is how you feel 3 days, a week, a month, 6 months from now. But I hope your efforts today solve it all.
