I was going to attempt to run some sets in the gym next time I am in, but im not sure if this would be a good environment for it

Hi- read a discussion on this......they said how it could be awkward if they dont turn out well....but then guess that depends on how much youre bothered

Gyms are are a great place for meeting women. I should know i work in several gyms.
However it is very important to use the time contraint rules as the women are usually focused on their workout and the ones which are not can be below standard anyway.
personally i very rarely number close in a gym as i kind of see it as breaking an element of trust and would appreciate any advise on this. Not just in gyms but any other similar situations.
The easiest to approach in a gym is to use a machine next to the target and start light conversation if things don't go as planned carry on the workout. Nothing lost!

I had f-close twice in the gym since I joined the community. The main thing is not to be creepy. I have noticed a lot of gym chodes who like to stare or keep looking at girls on the gym. My ex used to tell me she hated the thoughts of having gazing eyes at her whilst she's sweating it out in the gym.
From experience, it is a longer process picking quality girls in the gym. Best advice I can give is to initiate a conversation, which can be anything. E.g. if I catch a girl just finishing on a treadmil, I will ask jokingly when her marathon coming up. Next time I see her, I initiate another conversation but it is always on the subject of training. When I feel that she's showing enough IOIs, I tell her to join me in the steam room. In the steam room, you can chat about anything. The last girl I f-closed took 2months. That time period is okay for me cos I don't goto the gym to pick up women and noone should. Hope this helps.

I've had a couple of dates from gym girls before. One was a receptionist (who I was seeing for quite a few months actually), who I would just chat to after and then asked for her number. Make sure she shows signs of interest though. The receptionist girl said she used to get other guys asking for her number and it always seemed really out of the blue and weird. The other was a girl who was using her machine wrongly and I showed her how. I then shared the machine with her and started chatting.

I usually do this in 3s, open first time I see them, up the flirting the 2nd time and close on the 3rd. This is beacuse interactions tend to be quite brief and also ups the sexual tension if you prolong the close for a bit (esp if she notices you working out next time you are in there and you wait a bit before chatting to her again). Girls get the same tension we get when we see a someone we fancy in the gym and want to speak to them.

Problem I have found was I didn't know how to number close, as you don't usually have your phone on you. The machine girl I got her number as I passed her just as she was leaving and I was next to changing room so could just grab my phone. If your midworkout however, may be slightly more awkward to do this. Sometimes I record my gym progress, so I have a pen and paper to hand. This eliminates this problem (and also could give you something to open with/ chat about - although she may not be interested in how much you can deadlift haha!!).

Come to think of it I have got 2 other numbers in the gym, but they never text back. More of a problem with my phone game than gym game probably. Made it slightly awkward next time we met, but no real biggy.

Also, a lot of girls are a bit insecure in the gym if they are all sweaty and that. If your not you come in with a better natural energy level. This helps too I think.

Finally, I never do classes, but perhaps should as there are usually more girls than men in these and is far easier to open.

This is quite an interesting topic, might have to give it a try when i get back to UK, on ship at the minute in the falklands, so i usually learn about how to come over to girls on here, the conversationals and keeping them interested and the like, but when im back in the UK i want to be on my A game.
