If Phil is expressing his true personality and successfully attracting the women he desires without hurting anyone, then good for him. I personally wouldn't adopt his 'method', but at the same time I can't knock him for it either.

I agree. Some advice on this forum is very muchso too steered towards self improvement/a severe overexaggeration of the so-called 'inner-game'.

Inner game and confidence is needed for life in general. however, getting hot HOT girls etc. do need some showing off! I have some awesome goodlooking friends who have brilliant personalities AND they do act normal (believe it or not because a lot of people seem to think acting normal will automatically get you really hot girls which simply isn't always true). but in terms of getting the 9s and 10s, they struggle. When a girl is being chased around by 5 awesome guys, sometimes you need that something extra and "being yourself" sometimes just doesn't cut it. I guess the tipping the bartender a tenner could be debated as a bit 'fake', but honestly if you have the money, who really cares? You get the bartender to know you which is in itself very very handy and it can open up so many doors so easily (I remember strauss doing something similar in the game... not saying hes god but just saying its a PUA-like method).

I don't want to bring into question if the girls being attracted by this method are 'worth it' or 'what you want' because being a PUA isn't about finding a wife in my opinion! Its about hitting those 9s and 10s .

Also is it really fake that you want to spend a lot of money on a girl? I'm not talking about tipping the bartender but I will honestly spoil the perfect girl that i love rotten when I find her so its not like you're exactly faking it. You're just showing how you treat a nice girl.

I concur with Maestro on your analysis but unfortunately Phil is right, with about 80% of the populous (arbitary figure plucked out the air but lets just say most people) being completely moronic, superficial and socially conditioned regarding their wants and desires from life, then to those people Image is everything!!

For those of us who seek to live our lives with abit more depth and enrichment from other means we are in a minority and have to live with all the crap that is fed to these moronic people. Well it's either that or skirting around the problem with semi quick fixes I guess. Try this, try that, some bits work others don't, he said this works for him, blah blah blah ... but it never quite works consistently enough for the individual who reads the advice does it? Hence he looks for more and more one liners and techniques. I should know I've tried half the bullshit I've been fed and on it's own it was worthless.

I think you are taking the spending money bit out of context. I will not waste my time or money to gain the attention of a barman. Nothing to do with spending money on those I love, whether the gift be £1 or £1000. I know that any girl I trully care for will not be in it for the gifts though so this doesn't really feature in my intentions.
