Being a dad myself, albeit unmarried, I can easily see how you took offence to the post by shahansa. No matter what the situation is with me & my boys mum I'd always pay for him too.

I think the point he is trying to make though is relative to the divorce rate & all that shit. Not exactly that men should "think twice" but that a lot of men are just completely oblivious & go ahead with something that they think they want or that they just do to make the woman happy. Then pay for it emotionally & financially when it it ends whilst screaming "WHAT WAS I THINKING"

I'm in no way suggesting this was the case with you but it's the stereotypical man we imagine when we hear of "guy being hounded by ex wife"


Anyways Legend how come you're back?

My ex wife never hounded me for money. We agreed amicably 7 years ago the divorce settlement and the maintenance and that was it.
Why I'm back? I blame Jaz. But been reading some of the posts and maybe I shouldn't have come back. Some just make me cringe. I mean why would anyone:
1) Why would anyone want to game a stripper in a stripper joint? Unless you have a fat wallet, they won't be interested. They just want to work and make sure punters spend money on a dance and loads of alcohol.
2) Why would anyone want to try to win a bird back after he's been treating her like a bitch? And being all needy and lame.
3) Why would a married man want to interact (game) with other women to build his confidence just in case the marriage goes tits up? Won't it be better if he focus on improving the marriage?
4) And finally why would anyone want to go out with an overweight girl? I know 4 or 5 ex PUAs from this forum ended up with fat ugly girls.
Anyway, I digress....

I didn't say anything about children, my point is marriage is a stupid idea. Tell me what made marriage any better than a long term relationship. To be more astute I more of meant that people who get married and act like it's a big surprise they got divorced and that the wife took their money (and if you want to add them in, kids), are stupid.

A quick Google search shows that 42% of marriages are expected to end in divorce. Come to think of it, I'm not sure how your post was against what I said but okay.
