I think that people can get stuck in a comfortable state where they have enough, food, a place to live and some money. I've done it before, I was pretty lucky and managed to get a decent life but now I think I have to push myself instead of just cruising.

They don't want to rock the boat and push themselves because doing that might lead to failure. It's easier to live a comfortable but mundane life than trying to change yourself for the better because then you won't fail and won't have to confront and tackle difficult aspects of your personality and change your reality. You can just sit there and survive and not strive for anything better, so when they see you doing what they should be doing it's easier to dismiss it than change.

Is 100% correct.

But then again, if people want a quiet life, then that's fine. They're very welcome to one, and I shant begrudge them it. However if they choose to belittle my own mission in order to validate their own shortcomings, that's when theres a problem.

Just get on with it please

Yep I 100% agree too

I'm not saying go out and berate people for not improving themselves but if they mock you for trying to do something positive then that's where I too have a problem
