so we were in a fairly decent bar with a bunch of people last night with nice pockets of TRE (Target Enviroments), not necessarily on game and I mosied casually to the bar, chewing the cud with a girl with out with her birthday friends - wished happy birthday, shook hands, avoided being the entertainer for the group, kept it all low energy, talking over my shoulder back at them. She shortly came closer and asked looked me in the eyes and asked if I was going to buy her a drink - I instantly held out my hand for her money and pointed to the 2 lagers and said "this is mine and this one is my friends". One of her friends said "if your going to buy one for her, you have to buy one for all of us" - totally ignored the comment, like she never even said it, zero emotional spike. At the time I was in a zone of indifference, she was attractive but I didnt feel the need to pursue - maybe I was too buzzed out from the wine and the other girls I was out with.

I let her take a swig from the bottle and then took it back saying "whoa there, hold on". I turned my attention back to the bar while she was looking over at me and having a post-match conversation with her mates.

There are probably a lot of ways I could have turned the whole frame round onto her and the group about them wanting to buy me drinks ??

I make it a point never to buy a girl a drink, it seems cheap, like you're trying to buy her attention. Plus I've been out with girls who've been like that and its an instant turn off, I usually just walk off if a girl says that.
