It's not a black and white thing. Yes, in the end you get what you pay for. But you do pay extra on top for popular brands. Some of them do ride on the brand name even when they aren't delivering the best (M&S is a good example of this). M&S clothes last a long time but I would only wear them for doing the decorating. Buy your pillow cases and sheets from M&S not clothes.

Another thing is you can have an expensive piece of clothing, like a shirt, jacket or shoes and the rest can be cheap stuff. But it doesn't take away from the quality piece. What I'm saying is you don't have to be kitted out from head to foot in designer gear. One item that stands out is enough. Make the rest up from what you can find in your budget.

Unless you have a weird body shape the chances are you will need to get alterations done. This can cost up to £30. So factor that in when you are buying clothes.

When I was younger I always wore clothes off the peg. The problem with that is it makes you feel cheap if your sleeves are too long or your trousers aren't just the right length.

I would advise don't accept that. Make sure your clothes fit you almost perfectly. It will boost your confidence a lot. If the clothes last you two years this is a worthwhile investment.

And find a barber (man or woman) that's good at cutting mens' hair in a style cut. And get it cut every 4 weeks and...just be yourself. The best version.

M&S have awesome clothes for men, I'd recommend anybody to shop there. The last few shirts i bought form there are awesome, and there's really no huge difference to the jumpers I bought from them to the designer ones that I have.

If you stuck a Prada or Diesel label on M&S clothes, people would buy them with no complaints.

Maybe I've been just been unlucky then in what I got there. It was a few years ago.

hahah shah didn't we go shirt shopping for you in m&s? anyway dude, I have seen a ton of fat guys getting with chicks, don't know about the pull. So it is possible, although I would agree with making health your no.1 priority right now. If you don't have the mental strength to push yourself in the gym, you won't be able to do it on the field. That's my $0.02 anyway.
