I travel for work quite often but I'm used to 4 star hotels with double beds and soft pillows. I suppose I could do some cities and some roughing it. I'd also like places where they speak English. As you say we'll discuss it next time I see you.

I've not done hostels, but if I was gonna travel solo again I'd do hostels. When I was on a flight from Seoul to Tokyo I met an English guy and I was telling him how cool it was meeting people from all walks of life from all over the world while I had been in Seoul. He then told me that's why he prefers hostels as you just get to meet so many more people. Roughing it makes it all just that little bit more interesting than the safety cocoon of the hotel.
