No I don't have any bloody mental issues!!! Also I think I have approached a hell of a lot more than one woman a week over the past 30 years. I got a few number closes and a few email closes and a couple of instant dates but that is all. And in night game a long time ago I managed to get a couple of snogs off women but that was all.
One major problem I found in central London though when doing street approaches is that so many women automatically think that you are either a beggar or someone who wants directions! I think the only way round that is to open in a rapid machine gun fire style way, the way that Tom Torero says not to. But there is no alternative when women keep saying things like; "Sorry I don't have any spare change", or "I don't know this area". After you have said the first two sentences. I have tried smartening myself up but it still makes virtually no difference. I have found I got a better response in general though further away from central London away from the West End, probably because there are less beggars and less lost tourists there than in central London.
I am not the only one who has that problem as other people on other forums have said they have the same problem in other cities like Oxford and New York places which have a high number of beggars and lost tourists. Another problem with street approaches is that most women who do stop and let me talk to them usually say they are in a big rush and have to dash off soon.
