I don't think its pointless at all, in the same way you would reprimand a child you discourage incorrect behaviour. Every other person who's introduced themselves or even posted politely I've tried to help. This guy had posted about 4 times on random threads with random comments without even announcing or introducing himself, something I find quite rude so forgive me for not welcoming him with open arms.

And Ian Beale was ginger, and therefore had no soul. You could be onto something there...

I didn't reply because I think I actually thought I replied to him but must have mistook it for another thread where a newbie didn't post in the Introductions either.

Nobody has said that Sha, and nobody is doing that, it's not pointless flaming, just because you may not think its helpful behaviour doesn't mean its not.

Negative reinforcement is just as effective as positive and is just as much required.
But that's not what happened here either, I simply stated 'what the fuck is this' which is a perfectly valid statement given the pretence. It was a one sentence statement with a title that frankly I find a bit offensive, hence my statement.

And by making comment on such instead of allowing the original subject to respond its successfully derailed the thread further negating what little positive impact had been made, which K accurately noted has caused your own statement to become somewhat hypocritical. Bravo.

Anyway, let's get this back on track.
Ian do you want to make a post in the introductions section of the forum, with at least a bit more than one sentence about yourself and maybe a less useless and off-topic title.
