Default I know it's been done to death but... - 13-01-2010, 10:12 PM

...Facebook Game...with a catch.

So, last week I went to a 21st do where I saw a few people who I went to school with and haven't talked to in circa 5 years... and it's true what they say, ugly ducklings can and do turn in swans!

Anyway, got talking to a pretty young HB7 who I'm already friends on Facebook with but never really spoken to since school (you know the type) but didn't actually 'game her' - I was merely being sociable. To cut a long story short she now keeps 'liking' and commenting on pretty much all of my statuses...so I'm in a bit of a dilemma - do I take these as IOI's (she is single)...or is she just being friendly seeing as we had some banter the other night...?

Any tips on the what I should do next please gentlemen? Bearing in mind that the comfort stage is already there?

Or am I just being a wuss and should I just message her saying how I enjoyed our chat and that we should do it again etc.?

Cheers

its odd 'liking' on facebook.... if its all-of-a-sudden with one particular person, on things which arent usually likeable then perhaps its an IOI.... try some random status' and see if she likes them...

Yes you take them as IOI's, even if they're not believe that every woman on the planet fancies you or they just don't know it yet

Do not look for IOIs they WILL ONLY FUCK YOU UP!!. So what if a girl touches her hair whilst you talk to her or scratches her wrist or whatever, I'm not disputing that sometimes these can be regarded as subtle hints of attraction but alot of the time they are purely coincidental. Just assume she likes you unless you blatantly are told otherwise.

IOI's is just another thing to think about! I'd rather do away with them.

Also, surely IOI's just gives the girl power she doesn't deserve? When I'm talking to a girl, I don't want to spend my time looking at her thinking "Did she just touch her hair? Did she laugh? Does she like me? Do I need to do more to make her like me?"

I'd just plough on until you're stopped. If she's still talking to you, that's all the IOI you need. If she walks away - then you know she wasn't giving any IOIs, and move onto the next one!!

Just get on with it please

Nice link kowalski. Actively reading people is something I dedicate too much effort and thinking to and it can really send you under.
can asily turn into paranioa and make you figdety.. which only makes things worse.

Some good points in this thread gents, thanks very much for your replies. I've done the deed and messaged her so let's hope that next week I'll be posting a LR...failing that I'll put it down to experience
