So , after a long time getting better at pua and finally coming to a point where I dnt really struggle for day 2's , # closes , kiss closes and more , I'm starting to feel a little cursed . Think of it like a doubled edged sword . This may only be true for me but I need to get this off my chest !

You see pua brothers (we're all a sort of family really) I'm quite picky and I have a certain type and because of this I've gotten v good at attracting this certain type . Wherein lies the curse , those of u who know me know that Im v logical and overthink things !

I attract these girls (that I really like) but then I get all attached to them because they are SO my type . So I'll get them intrested in me then I'll get all hung up on these women ! Do u know what it's like to go through S.L.L (shelf life love I call it) every week !! Sucks man .

Anyone ever experienced S.L.L on a regular basis ? And if so , how the hell do u prevent it !

TBH I ain't a good enough PUA to have reached this point yet. Plus I've been out of action for a month or so. And when I do attract women their the opposite of what I want. Whats your type by the way?

hey guys, pua is definately an addictable lifestyle. I am at sea and nowadays i don't even use the internet and come on here that much because i've been reading material. In 4 days i've read conversational jujitsu, real world seduction and alpha male, along with re-reading the game. But i know what you mean by shelf life love, because i used to get it about a year ago. Like i don't even know where to start, its hard to stop. I get it sometimes when i meet a girl i really feel a connection to that is my type, but then i just let it go. I don;t know how or why but somehow i always get over it. I think the key is to let these emotions fuel your pua. Make you think the girls of your dreams are now going for you, which makes you the prize you have strived to become.

I thought i'd expand on the whole situation as you all seem to kindof be getting the picture , what was i was subtly trying to hint at is that i get attached to these girls i hone in on and get like mini one itis which makes it hard to focus on other things lol .

Thing is , i love women and pua however i like the 'idea' of being in a relationship ! (key word being idea there) and so when i get attached i focus alot of my energy on them and striking something like this up . And i dont know why but i feel like this is a bad thing !

An example of this is as i spoke about before i met this amazing girl in London and we spent 3 nights just chatting and making out ! and now im really hung up on her whihc is really distracting and on the d/l because i like her alot im slightly worried im gonna lose her .

I dunno about shelf life love . . . . . . .In the words of Tony Montana " I really hope to be having that kinda problem Frank . . . ." never heard the term SLL before . . . . . the whole reason I'm here is to get myself back "in the game" after a year and a half abscence (been dating via internet websites etc. but not really the same eh) is due to breaking up with my ex and suffering fromt he dreaded "oneitis" . . . . . . Dunno about SLL, but that has got to be the real bitch of the bunch lol. Good luck with it mate, I know what you mean about having a "certain type" as Im in the same boat and often feel like im writing off 90% of women out there. So when does come along that fits the bill, you tend to go over-board. Wish I had your problems though mate lol.
