Who here as ever asked for/received dating advice from women, be it female friends, co-workers, sisters, mothers etc?

What did you make of the advice? were you satisfied with it? did you action that advice and what were the results?

I took to youtube yesterday to search for the first time in a long time for some RSD videos and I was surprised at just how many women see themselves as qualified to post youtube videos from their bedrooms giving dating advice to men. I watched a couple just out of mild curiosity but had to stop the videos before my mind became polluted with bullshit.

I did however watch this video as I quite like some of the stuff mensroomtv puts out on occassion.

Notice when he asks the barmaid her views on what she finds attractive in a guy. Firstly she says 'As much as people aren't willing to admit it, looks do matter' a minute later she says 'A guy can be ugly but if he's really confident [it is attractive]'.

I am genuinely interested to hear your past experiences of advice you have received from women and whether it was good or not and how that advice worked out for you? Should they be listened to/ignored? Can their advice ever be credible?

MOst girls advice is shit.

until you get to the raw part. Usually girls have an opinion that differs from what they really think.

I learned loads from a mate of mine, female, and once established as just mates, her real side came out, anf she was always straight up about how she perceived men & sex and all.

women are a lot more promiscuous than they would have the average guy believe. chances are very high that a girl you know who you assume butter wouldn't melt... are a naughty girl who like being spat at and choked.

these tend to be soft & well spoken girls who act like complete ladys.

That's good insight Phil, has anyone else ever recieved any credible dating/pick-up advice from women?? or can we conclude that in the majority of cases their advice is not worth listening to?

Agreed, I asked a mate of mine recently how he greets women on a first date (Though in his case the question was completely hypothetical he never meets women to go on dates). He told me, say hello and shake her hand!!

The best advice i got from a woman, that i can remember off the top of my head, was "you gotta be a bit cheeky/cocky but also just have a normal conversation", which ain't bad compared to some of the stuff I've heard in my time.

But yeah I think all people like to say 'what they'd like it to be'

That's some credible advice there from a women who seems to be in touch with her intuition. The usual shit you hear is 'Be a nice guy', we all know where that gets you!
