Field report 22/07/10 Cheltenham

Well, where do I start.

First of all great gathering of ppl at the Big southwest meet and awesome presentation. Thanks to the dudes who set it up and for us using the hotel.

We all headed out at about 10 for a night out on the town, as a place for everyone to meet and decide where to go next and to split up into manageable groups of 3or 4 we went to O'neils.

Previous to this me and Ash had been talking and were both ready to get stuck in straight away, rather than sitting around.

As soon as we walked in Ash opened a two set, I joined him about 30secs later, and Ash introduced me to the set by asking "mate what do u think they both do?" I gave my standard reply of something to do with dentistry, they both smiled and said why because we have nice teeth? We all chatted for a bit and we all wanted to go somewhere else, I suggested we all leave together, we all got up and left the bar, ash hung back and went with them to bar ha ha, said good bye there after a few mins and then me and ash went into town, telling ppl that we were prob heading to slug and lettuce or a near by bar and to join us after they finish their drinks.

We met up with a few others at slug where nothing really happened, wondered around a few bars trying to find somewhere with more than 5 ppl there.

We headed to vodka rev's and omg, what a place for high value beautiful sets!!! Amazing place.

It was my round, I stood at the bar opened a guy next to, who then gig the whole mixed set he was with talking to me about Cheltenham. Drinks arrived and ash had opened a good two set, I brought our drinks over and joined the set. Got good ioi's from the hb8 I was talking to a d this part was brilliant

She said "it's never going to happen with those two"
Why I said
Cos she has a ltbf
And how about us I asked, how are we getting on, maybe a coffe or meet up later or something?
She said smiling, yeah I'll give u my number,

Sweet no. Closed the babe, now for more lol

I open another two strangers by the bar, nothing happens and we decide to move on.

Went to the place, pretty met up with a few others and a quick dance and a drink.

On our way out ash opened a two set and number closed the one with a boy friend lol, good fun set and it kept the momentum going

Me and ash decide to go to boogie lounge and this is where the fun really starts!!!

Outside the lounge were some stunning sets, I mean hb9's or 10 it was awesome. I open a set and we talk for ages, ash having a gr8 time, and before we know it ten mins later 5 of the hottest girls are all talking to us and it's an amazing buzz.

30 mins later, we leave the set and I open a two set directly behind them (we haven't even gone in the club yet, outside is gr8 for talking)

One of the girls, who was looking at me, after I opened her instantly asked my name, and said it was very nice to meet me, I kissed her on both sides of her cheek and held her hand after, she didn't let go and after saying I was a real gentleman and they were hard to find I said

I'm going to put my arm around, ok she said and then 2ses later she had her arm around me. We all spoke for a while and then we went hand in hand into the club,

Straight to the dance floor, danced/grinded and then we all went back out again, it was 2 at this time and we all said our good byes and that they both worked in French connection and I/we should pop in

So today I did and turns out she has a boyfriend, which was fine, it was gr8 meeting them both and it's a couple of extra friends.

Ash summed it up well and said in a text

Boyfriends were the theme of the evening

Gr8 ppl, great night out, and now onto tonight!!! I'm in Cheltenham tonight, me and Grahame and poss rich are going out, post if interested.

Nice one Ali, sounds like a great night! Interesting talk from Lee very enjoyable. A large group of us headed to the Place, certainly wasn't target rich or my kind of scene but we sure made the most of the situation completely owning the dancefloor upstairs!

I won't be out tonight I need a break after last night and London the night before, out Saturday night though.

Lets do Saturday! I'm up for that!

So, Dominique, the girl from thur finally text me back on Friday at lunch time and then didn't reply to my text until 315 that morning, which is obv a little strange.

I asked if she wanted to grab some food at lunch sat, she couldn't but suggested another time, so I'm meeting tonight for dinner!!

Basically don't give up on texting someone but never appear desperate

If anyone is out at 11ish let me know, unless I get lucky
