Hi guys, for the last week I've been in Gibraltar and I have a few more days here. I came here earlier in the year and managed to gain the attention of a girl, who I'd been speaking to since online (and doing very well with it) while I also managed to make a lot of local male friends. So anyway, I returned (note: for a cheap chillaxin holiday - not for her) in high hopes, feeling I'd conquered this girl and I had little concern about what would come of it when I did meet her. I then made my first mistake, at her house I acted disinterested( I was knackered but this is no excuse) and the night ended with us having hardly spoke and both feeling disppointed.

I realised at this point that I did actually care about what happened with us and things got worse from this point. My problem last time was isolation, I just couldnt get her away from her friends, and the same has happened this time. So I made several attempts to isolate her, all of which have failed because either; she's not interested or she's scared. I know the latter seems unlikely but she's certainly acted in this way(see last night). Basically the only time I've spoke to her since I've been drunk and I've realised this makes my game very poor and here's why:
Very Drunk Night
I can't remember what day of the week it was but I was in a pub with my friends, having a laugh and whatever but I stopped drinking after 3 pints( to the disgust of my friends) knowing I needed to stay sober for this girl. She arrives and my friends immidiately point out how im not drinking - she then keeps buying me shots and, needless to say, my memory fades. In hindsight she could really only have one motive for getting me very drunk (unless shes evil), yet I am an idiot drunk and only succeeded in being a clown. I regained memory as I was walking her home ( Apprently we went to a club before this) and I then had a drunken conversation. Not being so sure what I've said I don't think it went too well.
Last night
I spoke to her yesterday during the day on msn, shit was going good, so much so she invited me to her house ( she was ill and had taken the day off work) so I initially refused, as I was waiting for my friend to text me back about going looking for a guitar then after about 15 mins I said I'd come over. She said she'd have a shower and get ready but then disaster! She come back 20 mins or so later saying she was gonna go to sleep cos she felt ill and so I just say the typical alright hope you feel better shit. About 5 hours later at around 9:30 I talk to her again. I find out my brother breaks his arm at home and tell her about it. I go out, a bit shaken up, then text her asking if she wants me to come over, I get no reply until an hour later saying she only just got the message and so being pretty pissed off I didnt reply.

So far my holiday has been epic fail with women, I seem to have mastered talking to guys but my confidence with women has been proper messed up. I know I should really forget this girl and move on but I really wanna see this thing out - all or nothing style. What's your advice guys?

Flake man - you complicate things. You failed to isolate her and when she did isolate herself and invited you round, u said u waiting fior a text from ur mate. I'm all for showing the girl some kind of "I'm not bothered" attitude but goin the other extreme, u shoot yourself on the foot. It is not like you just mate her and you guys been talking, so the attraction is there, so why don't you just go direct and ask her out. What you gonna lose? Then if she said no, maybe time to move on. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I bet you haven't really showed what your intentions are. Anywya, good luck with this one. I really think you complicate a much simpler situation. You done the hardwork, talking to her on MSN all these months. If she weren't keen on you, she wouldn't have bothered. So go for it dood.

Go in for the kill! The worlds not gonna end if she knocks you back. Just tell her she's got sexy eyes and try to smack one on her - tongue and everything Pacino style (when he goes in for the kiss with Michelle Pfeifer in Scareface and get's a slap) And if she does knock you back, which by the sounds of things she very well might, just look at her like you know she wants to just as bad as you! Then at least you've broke the ice a bit and pumped a bit of fire into the situation.

I tend to overcomplicate things too mate, but the "new" me would be trying what the other guys are saying..

Cheers for the advice guys. Yeah I did fuck it up for myself. I'm just gonna go for it tonight. I'm gonna invite her to the cinema with some other guys then go out and just totally caveman, I've got nothing to lose as you've pointed out
