so about a week or so ago I was out frequenting my favourite night spot "Mama Stones". Ran by Joss Stones mum, it plays live music and serves good beer. I was with a couple of friends when Joss Stone walked by, so i grabbed her attention with "Hey Joss"

She turned around, I give it the big smile and continue to introduce to my bewildered mates. We start chatting about her night, what's the best cocktail and I ask the question "why haven't we heard any albums recently?"

Turns out about 3 months ago she'd released 1... My friends look at eachother with and expression that says "Awkward". Unperturbed I carry on for a couple more minutes then make my excuses and carry on with my night.

Now before I continue, there was no chance of anything more than a chat on the cards, I definitely did not chat up Joss Stone and there was no closing of any kind etc.

The thing was, she behaved exactly like all of the other girls I chat-up/pick-up/talk to/attract/whatever-the-kids-call-it. I was able to lead her, be interesting, have a good conversation and furthermore she was boring! I'm sure she has to have conversations over and over with "fans" but she just lacked a sense of humour.

So after meeting an "attractive" and "famous" HB8.5 I can honestly say the nearly all women are the same. I need somebody to interest me...

Yeah I've found this with a lot of hot girls. They don't need to to work on having a personality or sense of humour because they know they've got you by the short and curlies by just being hot. Conversely, it's usually the fat/ugly ones that are funny because that's the only string they've got to their bow.

This is generally truer for hot English girls than it is for hot girls from anywhere else on earth in my experience. Dunno why...?

A lot of them seem to have conversations that are painful to our logical brains, u have to remember theyre conversing with emotions and not just words. Its why they seem to talk shit.

However, most hot girls I've come across don't even have that ditzy side to their personality. They expect you to make conversation and have very little to say for themselves. They're just boring - no real opinions of their own and very little in the way of humour. Fine if you're willing to put the effort in - you'll reap the rewards and shag a hot girl - but if you can't be arsed they're a fucking nightmare. I usually end up leaving them be and talking to the girl who everyone thinks is a bit weird.

I agree with this, most of the time you're chatting to a "Stunner" and they just lack the ability to tease or flirt in conversation, it's either physical or dull. I'd rather have a naturally beautiful, quirky cutie rather than a cloned hottie but then again sometimes it's fun to go home with the stunner for a nice ego massage.

I've not seen her in the flesh and I know the hotness of chicks can go up or down compared to only seeing a pic on a screen so I take it back, she may well be a 9.

Does she still talk with that put on LA accent? I think it was her who after having a bit of success went to America and came back talking all weird like. Probably in a half arsed attempt to sound more cool or interesting.

But for the chance of closing a FG*? I'd have it, even if she really isn't my type.

She doesnt have to be quirky funny or interesting to talk to, she is attractive/famous and female, thats all she needs to generate more than enough attention from males of all levels of attractivness
