Hi Guys - I met Kowalski, Anthony, Sapmi and a few others for the first time last night. Sorry can't remember all the names! It was nice to put faces to the forum names.

So last night was the first time I've ever come out without my own friends. It's a strange feeling but I'm determined to barrel through it. After all, to become good at anything you gotta go through a pain period.

Earlier, I had a text from Kowalski telling me that he'd be in the Northern Qtr, but beyond that I was on my own. I headed to the area and parked my car. I walked past Bluu and it looked busy so I thought it was as good as any place to start. At the bar I was starting the to have that billy-no-mates feeling so I just went in on a set to my left, opening with something about the service being lame...It was afc stuff but I noticed straight away as I leaned back and engaged in conversation, girls were looking at me. Talking to girls gets you more attention from other girls, it's true!

Later on, as I was fiddling with my phone trying to text Kowalski I opened another 3 set with my Iphone opener lol. Basically I just point to my phone and say to the set, "whatever you do don't get the iPhone, its rubbish etc..". One of them was an 8 she was giving me good co-operation, saying that she liked the phone and she wanted one. But I remained neutral and I think this worked against me because I should have amped the interaction. Eventually I think she got bored and the interaction faded.

Thank god, because by then I got a text from Kowalski telling me he was in the same venue and giving me a quick description of his looks - one girl from the 3 set actually pointed him out for me after I showed her the text message.

So I met the guys and it was all good. You guys were raiding in and out of sets, exchanging high fives with hot girls. To be honest, I felt a bit out of my depth! LOL

Anyway personally I felt good about the night. From the outset, my goal was to open using a bit of Gamblers natural game. In the end I opened about 6 sets but I think my problem was that I was in entertainment mode, trying to make the girls laugh and I never really amped the sexual tension in any of the sets.
Still I'm pleased that I had a good time.

I want some feedback from you guys please. When you saw me in sets--
1-what was my body language like?
2-did i look comfortable?
3-did the sets look comfortable?
4-what's the one thing i should do more often?

Be brutal and honest please! Cheers.

Nah seriously though, I was really impressed by you since this was pretty much the first time you've ever done this kinda thing! You didn't seem to be having much AA, you just seemed to walk over to sets and open them with ease (or at least it appeared this way) - either way, you were doin' it!

While in set you looked comfortale enough, couldn't hear your material so I don't know whether it was good or not, but you kept your sets open for longer than 2 minutes which is more than I managed my first time out!

Being an entertainer and making them laugh is all good, its DHV, but what I will say is take note of what Kowalski said to us both yesterday about changing the direction of the conversation if you feel it isn't sexual enough. Purposely misinterpret something she says to be sexual for example.

Also, I would say you should kino more to try and move the set along. You weren't doing much of that in the set i wathched you work. Read up on how to do this effectively, as I'm sure there's better methods than my own!

Other than that man, you were really good anyway, impressed me a lot for your first time! Big potential Kes man

I like your open opinion on feedback - something I share. I didn't see you in set enough to give constructive criticism.

My game is probably a bit different, and I suspect that the targets I go for are different from the ones that you go for. [note:this is not a criticism!] Usually, they are not sexually open. That said, they sometimes are, in which case I can calibrate differently and SNL or whatever.

I try to be myself, or my best self - confident, funny, interesting, interested, not too needy. Also trying to bear in mind kino (something which isn't natural for me all the time) escalation, and sometimes sexual framing - teasing etc. Bear in mind though that I'd still say there are some major sticking points to my game, and I've got a long way to go. I too look for feedback. At least I don't get much AA, and don't get stuck in friend zone. I don't kiss enough on a first night mind.

The main thing is to 'leave them better than you found them' - make an effort to improve their lives, as they improve yours.

I wish i'd come out but I was moving house and I had some last minute packing to do.
