After a couple of months reading up I felt it was about time to try this out as it is the only way for me to learn. I used mainly canned material from ‘The Game’ and ‘The Pick Up Artist’. I started at Printworks in Norwegian Blue and straight away opened with ‘fight outside’ on a hen do and moved to the bar. After talking to some guys at the bar I opened a good 3 set with girl kissing girl and as a result they kiss each other on the cheek. I tell them to do it properly, so they kissed on the lips!!! Unfortunately I couldn’t take this further with the noise. I went upstairs and saw another 3 set in their early 20s, I used a Facebook hack opener which got them talking, and negged the target. I was able to sit with them and get talking after an FTC. After finding out 2 of them had kids I swapped targets which killed the whole thing. Next was Lloyds bar.

Didn’t see anything of note at first so went to the bar and had a laugh with 2 black guys after he called the bartender racist for serving me 1st. He pointed out a 2 set of 9s which I went over to open with girl kisses girl, followed by Styles best friends test. This didn’t go well as I spoke too fast and with too much energy. I ended up negging both as I couldn’t pick the target, as a result asked if I was on drugs LOL.
I moved on to Tiger Tiger and opened a girl in line with the Facebook hack routine and went up stairs with her group. Again I couldn’t maintain conversation because of the noise, so went to a quieter area and opened a 2 set with ‘engaged friend’. We ended up talking but I had paid too much attention to the target and forgot to FTC,so they went back to their friends. Now I wanted a change of surroundings so flagged a taxi to take me to Deansgate.

I had a good chat with the taxi driver to get in the talking mood and went straight in Baa Baa and opened with ‘fight outside’. The targets friend was a 7 and seemed the more interested. I tried to get her to come upstairs but she didn’t want to, I said her friends should come as well but they refused. Didn’t hang around for long so decided to change venue.

Next I headed to Missquila and opened a 2 set with girl kisses girl, but the target thought I was encouraging cheating, she was pretty bitchy, so I negged with ‘ Is she always like this’ and it only made her worse. I used the best friends test again and the target was the only one who looked I gave an explanation but she wasn’t interested. So I moved on to a group of women in their mid to late 20s sitting down. One was an 8 and she was slightly apart from the group talking to a friend who was standing. Opened with fight and asked if they were friends from uni they laughed, so I responded saying they were school friends which made them laugh more. I locked in well with the spin routine to sit down, and used the masturbate in the shower line which they found funny. I tried to isolate the target but she said she preferred it loud (I did ask her friend BTW). I felt I had stalled so decided to leave.

One the way out I saw a 2 set of 9s sat at another table.I opened with fight and it started positively, I did the best friends test which was awesome as they looked twice. After getting their names I shown the target pictures of me and my niece who has the same name, after small talk I used the masturbate in the shower line which they hated, shame I had to end the night on a low.

Overall I was pleased with this for my 1st sarge. I was able to open sets quite easily and had little approach anxiety. I realised from the experience I need to watch my negs and pay more attention to obstacle and less to the target initially. Also I know I should vary my openers, become less reliant on canned material and speak a lot louder. Next I need to work more on following up openers, creating attraction and isolate my target.

Also I felt I was dressed smart but didn’t have anything to help with peacock theory. I’ve been looking for places in town which sell cheap jewellery such as pendants but couldn’t find anything. What are your views on Peacock theory and where do they buy items from in Manchester ??

great FR Neon. Try working with some story telling to build attraction and DHV as it's often more natural than stacking routines.

As for peacocking, I peacock all the time but in a way that's appropriate personality/ I live by the sea so my day game will probably have a straw trilby or some funky sunglasses. For evening game i'll dress smart say shirt, trousers, waistcost, hankerchief in pocket, white shoes, bright socks. other times i've worn braces, dark trilby, or flip flops with smart-cas. However that said I have just as much success just being well-dressed (in well fitting clothes) and well-groomed.

Your best off trying Afflecks for the more alternative garb. Or you could do what I do and scower ebay for the more unique items.

Dont fall into the trap of looking differnet for differnets sake, do it because it a natural expression of who you are.

It's a very fine line, one which NATO with their blue helmets get completely wrong.

Cheers mate. I should be heading solo again in Manc next week if I can't find a wing. The thing is in a nighclub it encourages you to approach anyone as you alternative is to be the weird guy in the corner looking uncomfortable. Don’t intend to go OTT on the peacocking with fuzzy hats etc. I'm looking more along the lines of pendants, bracelets and rings. I’m probably going to check Afflecks out tomorrow and try some approaches during the day.


As for the Facebook hack opener it is a my more updated version of an email hack. Here is how I used it.

Me: Hiya guys, quick question would you check you BFs FB is you though he was cheating on you ??

(Girls respond)

Me: I can only stay for a sec, but I’m asking because my mate X had suspicions about his GF. He hacked her FB to find out she was cheating. Should he dump her straight away or tell her what he has done.

(Girls respond)

Me: Well X is going to be here shortly, and If he dumps her on the spot it’s going to be awkward as they have been together for 3 years. If he tells her what he has done she will turn it around and make it all about the hacking ( Turn to target ) You would well do that. (Then move on to something else )

What I learn pretty early on in the night ( and its pretty obvious) is that you follow up with something related to what they say.
