I‘ve recently found myself in a few situations when I’ve been out and my moral beliefs have been tested. Weirdly, they’ve all happened in the last month or so. I’ve given them all thought and my opinions of how I reacted in each situation differ. I’d be interested to know how some of you would have handled the situations if you were in my shoes. So here are 3 mini field reports:

The lone girl
I hit a club in Swindon with some of my closest friends. The drinks are flowing and it doesn’t take us long to hit the dance floor. At some point, as we’re dancing in a circle, I scan the room as I have a sudden urge to get into a set. As I scan I spot an 8, but she’s being followed by some creepy AFC guy. I just watch as I dance and he creepily follows her round the club. He keeps touching her and grabbing her. She hates this and there’s a look of both disgust and fear in her face. She makes her way onto the dance floor and tries to lose him in the crowd but he’s not giving up.

People are starting to clock this but nobody is doing anything about it. I genuinely think it might get worse, so I step in.

I make my way over and just grab her hand. I say in her ear to come join me and my friends and just pretend she’s with us. Her face lights up and she holds tightly onto my hand as I lead her over to my friends. When we get to my friends she gives me the biggest hug and a kiss on the cheek. I take her hand and dance with her in the middle of the circle, it takes an age before the AFC leaves. I dance with her and chat with her and we both sort of laugh about the situation. In the corner of my eye I can see some of my friends gesturing to try my luck. I sense she’s into me and she’s giving me IOI’s all over the place. I’m also into her, she’s sexy as fuck, but I decide against it. My thoughts were ‘she’s almost been raped by some creep, there’s no way she’d want me all over her’. In hindsight, I feel a bit of a douche. Here’s why.

I ask her who she’s here with. She tells me she’s with her sister so I tell her to go find her. She does but a few minutes later she’s at the bottom of the stairs by the dance floor, again by herself. So I grab her, bring her over to the group and dance with her some more. She then leaves to find her sister again. I then see her a little while later and she’s with two guys. One of them she kisses on the lips and then she walks away from them. I then see her later on at the bar by herself. I go over and chat with her a little bit more. What’s most noticeable is that her attraction for me has completely gone and she actually doesn’t seem that interested in talking to me. So I leave it.

Right as we’re about to leave the club, a friend points her out. She’s alone on the dance floor, he tells me to go for it but I know the attractions gone. I approach her anyway. “You haven’t got a sister have you?” She shakes her head. I leave her to it and exit the club.

House party
I’m at a house party in Feltham. For some reason, when I’m with the right people and I’m in a good mood I’m quite loud, which is the complete opposite of how I am usually. I’ve come to the house party with a mate from Swindon and the only person we know is the host. This doesn’t stop us. We get chatty with everyone by playing a drinking game called revenge, which is amazing for breaking the ice between strangers. My friend and I also have a couple of songs we sing when you have to drink finger measures or finish off a drink. At first it was just me and him singing it as we always do. Then as the others started hearing it more and got familiar with it, they joined in (talk about wanting to be on the fun end of the table). Everybody in the house was having fun as we had a bit of a sing song on rock band and more drinking games were played. This is where chunks of my memory are lost.

I remember some gothic chick; she wasn’t really good looking but had something about her that makes her sexy. I remember her being with her boyfriend but he wasn’t giving her much attention. I also remember being in the kitchen and whipping some girl in the legs with a towel. She then returned the favour and we ended up having a towel fight with others cheering us on. I remember watching the host being sick in a bucket on the floor and I also remember watching him flop his cock on the table and drinking the contents of the bucket. But this is all beside the point, I’m just painting a picture of how out of hand this house party got.

In between these memories I remember several times the Goth chick had a short skirt and she kept bending down in my vision, showing her ass. I also remember her on all fours on the sofa talking to someone and then looking over at me and smiling, letting me know she knew I could see. But I also remember her doing this to my mate from Swindon, so I didn’t think much of it. Later on I was walking up the stairs to crash in one of the bedrooms. I turn round to see the Goth chick has followed me up the stairs. She grabs my hand “If my boyfriend wasn’t here, I’d take you into that room” I was shocked. In all fairness, her boyfriend seemed like a bit of a cock, but I couldn’t do that to him. I can’t remember what my reply to her was but I remember sending her back downstairs to him, then passing out on a bed.

Friend's sister
I’m quite close to one of my best friend’s family. Particularly his sister. We get on well and have a lot in common. We’re always hugging and generally just being quite close. When we’re out in clubs we’ll always have a bit of a dance but think nothing more of it.

Christmas eve we all go out in Swindon. Like me and my close friends always do, we have a game of ring of fire or something before we head out to town. It’s a kind of ritual we’ve got into now to get the state pumping. When we get into town it’s all pretty dead. If you know Swindon well, this is unsurprising. Mostly it was a dull night but there was this one point where my friend’s sister and I were alone by the bar. She gives me a hug and I reciprocate. But something is different this time. She won’t let go and at one point she just looks up at me mid hug, not saying anything and kind of looking at me expectantly. I feel the chance to kiss her. She’s definitely attractive but it just doesn’t feel right. How would my mate feel? She finally broke eye contact with me and left me alone at the bar.

In hindsight
From all three situations I’ve ended up pussy-less. This is all because of my moral beliefs. The girl in the club I feel I probably judged that wrong and probably should have gone for the close. The Goth chick I know I did the right thing. I’m happy with that. Though my friend’s sister I have no clue about. I guess it’s a situation where it depends who you are or how good your relationship is with your friend and his sister. I still have no clue as to how I feel about it or what I’d do if this situation struck again.

As I said before, it’d be interesting to see what some of you make of this and how you'd of reacted in these situations.

The same as above too. The girl in the club: it sounds like you were thinking too much; it was worth a shot.

At the party: you missed a chance of getting laid, but it was the right thing to do. There will be plenty more and your conscience/karma is clean.

Your friend's sister: go for it. I did; it was great. He was a bit mad at first but then he was really happy as he saw that we just really liked each other. We are still best friends.

yeah, you understood that right. I do agree with Midas. I though about it far too much. Shame. She was one sexy bitch.

I must admit. I'm suprised you guys don't see a problem with picking up a best mates sister. Perhaps I'm just over thinking the situation and just assuming my friend wouldn't approve.

If you really like her, get along well and have loads in common with her, and your intentions are honourable, then your mate shouldn't have a major problem with it. He might feel a bit uncomfortable with the idea to begin with, but he'd get used to it. He may even be happy that his sister is going out with a mate who he knows to be a good guy.

If you don't go for it, you may be letting a great opportunity slip past you. From my experience, the good ones don't stay single for very long. And if she were to get together with someone else this week, you might end up kicking yourself for a long time.

At the very least, it's better the devil you know than the devil you don't.

I agree with K on the Lone Girl, but in the others I differ. The goth at the party I probably would've smashed, especially if the guy was a twat. I'm not proud of it but a couple of weeks ago I had the chance to shag a lass who had a boyf who treated her like shit, and had logistics not got in the way I wouldn't have thought twice. She was fit and I was drunk.

You undoubtedly did the right thing with your mate's sister. No matter how fit she is, sisters are just off-limits unless you actually plan on marrying her or some shit - friendships are more important than pussy so good on you. My mate has a fit sister, and even though we always joke about putting her to the sword we'd never actually do it!

You've got it back to front pal. Shagging people's birds is bad news, sisters are fine; there is no moral issue with it whatsoever as long as you treat her respectfully, but then again you should treat everybody respectfully anyway, so what's the difference?

The way I see it, I know my mate would be less than pleased if I shagged his sister, no matter how respectfully I treated her. I'd rather not risk losing him as a friend and go find some pussy elsewhere.

When it comes to shagging girls with boyfs, I realise it's a shitty thing to do and completely understand why you're against it. My reasoning is that if you avoided girls who were taken (especially in my age bracket) you'd spend the entire night with your thumb up your arse talking to fattys and girls with atrocious personalities (ie girls who are single for a reason). Let me put it this way - in my Physiology group at uni were 5 legitimately attractive girls (despite the fact they were doing Physiology). Would you like to guess how many of them had chode boyfriends?

That's right. All 5.

I used to think like that. I used to think that all the desirable women were taken. Then something strange happened; I just stopped thinking it. When I cut out this limiting belief, single women began to appear everywhere. Whether you say that they are (all taken) or say that they are not, you are probably right.
