So I've kept this field report to myself for a while as I didn't know whether it deserved it's own post or was purely anecdotal, however today has been a slow day at work and I think it deserves an airing.

Roughly a year ago I was out on the town with a few friends and as I was leaving the club to go back to the house of a girl I'd pulled when I met an acquaintance/mate outside in the smoking area, so I hung back and said I'd catch them up around the corner.

He started saying how did I always go home with a girl on a Wednesday night and that he was generally cheesed with never pulling

Feeling rather cocky I said "look Marty, you just need to do it with confidence" and walked upto a cute girl standing with her cute friend.

As we walked up her friend disappeared so my hopes of hooking us both up went out of the window but I just started of with a "hey I'm Dale, who are you?" and we got talking

Literally 2min later, I'd set up a date for Friday night and exchanged numbers and had a kiss goodbye whilst Marty stood there like a gooseberry.

The funny thing was, Marty was more attractive, better dressed but just didn't have the confidence and social skills to back it up.

It wasn't intentional but I just didn't care whether she said yes or not and still went home with the original girl, From then on whenever I saw Marty and any of that group of friends I had the reputation of a pimp...

Don't get me wrong, it's awesome that you've reached a 'click' moment and you feel great about what you're capable of - it's all good.

But to essentially say you've reached a point where you're now 'doing' more than you're learning? That is just weird.

I've had some awesome things happen that I couldn't have seen myself doing 10 months ago, everyone has these. It's part of the learning process. But that's just it, it's a process. You don't complete it.

Lets say, just for arguments sake you could 'graduate', for me it would probably be a 3-some with HB10 twins, and then do it again a week later to prove the first time wasn't a fluke. But even then I wouldn't entertain that I'd 'graduated'? This is not a fixed term course that some people complete faster than others, it's improvement. Improvement across many areas of your life, not just girls. Improvement should never cease.

I find it a weird concept to work towards a single goal or stage and then find you've reached it. I prefer seeing it as a journey, with no ending, and many many goals in between. There's so much to see and do and learn.

Why be satisfied with anything you've already achieved? Keep growing, grow faster, live it to the max!

Just to further justify myself, I'm not trying to piss on anyone's fire. I'm not saying I'm better or more capable. I'm just saying I don't get why you'd say you've completed it, I don't think it works that way.

Otherwise a good field report though, shame your friend won't learn from you.

Hammertime, different people have different goals and different indicators of success.

To me, sexual conquest has never been an ambition and will probably never be one. Yes I like sex, the intimacy and enjoyment that are products of it, but if I were to base my ambitions on that I would only be as good as my last "shag"

Please note that "graduate" is in inverted commas and to say I graduated PU was a tongue in cheek comment to which I feel that PU and PU material has very little to offer me for further self development.

Plus when you graduate University, do you stop learning? no, you move on to gain experience and applicable knowledge within your chosen field.

My post was not meant to be a brag to the community about what I can do, but hopefully an inspiration to those starting off or struggling like I once was and a thanks to K, Phil, Reflex, RLAJay and other members who have been instrumental in developing me from a social car crash to a confident man-about-town

I see there being two aspects here. PU; the tactics, falseness and sleezyness of most of the industry and then the overall self development side. I'm a student of the self development side. Yes, totalling up your sexual endeavours is a crude measure of success. It's akin to people measuring overall life success by how wealthy they are. This is also a crude and highly inaccurate mistaken measure of success.

I think what you mean in your post if I now understand it correctly is the point where you think 'Wow, that was so easy, it was so simple, but it's something I never thought I'd be able to do' and when having those moments it's freaking awesome. Similar to having an epiphany, or where it all 'clicks' and you see everything so clearly.

This is a stage newbies need to get to, because from that point on it's all fun and games.

This forum (and significant contributing members including, but not limited to those mentioned) is brilliant for encouraging that.
