Having (successfully) applied to join the military I was told that first and foremost I would be a soldier, then an officer, medic, engineer, whatever else. It was one of the main reasons that I didn't continue into training.
We actually have a right to call you whatever we wish. The freedom of speech is a fundamental human right that you
"fight" for. It is also a right that you are fully able to reply should you wish to call K or me whatever or discuss your views and beliefs...
