Nobody would really bother too much if someone got married to car & started having sex with the exhaust pipe. They might get a laugh at how fucking weird they are but it would soon be forgotten. If someone expressed their desire to do similar with a child there would be uproar, & rightly so.

What about those who haven't physically acted on their impulses but view child pornography is it ok because they simply have a sexual preference?

If someone wants to fuck a lamppost, fair enough no harm has been done to anyone.

If someone wants to or has fuck a child, terminate them.

That's what I would do if I was in charge.
