No it is nothing to do with scientology! And that bookshop is nowhere near the Scientology shop or headquarters. By the way I first heard about astral projection in a punk rock fanzine in the late 1980s. It is a real phenomenon as a couple of years after I read about it a friend of mine told a group of us about it and his experiences of practicing it. It is similar to near death experiences except that the person doing it is more in control. There is more on it here:
